Clean property, beds were comfortable, didn't use the pool. Has amenities to support both short term and long term guests (though no oven or toaster oven--microwave is a convection oven).

Great stay!!

My family and I were in town for my son’s wedding! The place was less than a half mile from the main hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It’s located near great restaurants, the beach, and we felt safe! I highly recommend staying at this property!

Great stay

We had a great time. It was an awesome, safe location a short walk to the beach and many restaurants. The condo was clean and the owner left everything we would need. The pool was clean and warm. Would definitely stay again!!

Lovely stay in great location

We loved our stay in this cute apartment for a quick girls weekend. The beach is just a short walk away and you are in close distance to FLL airport and a lot of great restaurants and activities. Loved it!

Best kept secret!

So enjoyed our stay- a short walk to the beautiful beach and fantastic neighborhood restaurants! The heated pool in an amazing bird sanctuary was perfect for a daily swim. Sandra and Kevin were wonderful to work with. Can’t wait to visit again.

We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the restaurant. We were a few blocks from the beach in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment was beautifully renovated and extremely comfortable.

Beach Bliss

We were very happy with this rental. The host provided detailed instructions for check in and property amenities, and the unit was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was a short walk to the beach and a nice central location to restaurants. We drove to Hollywood Boardwalk and enjoyed a nice Florida getaway. Would recommend.

Quiet condo with small pool. As described in the listing and short walk to public beach. Community coin laundry available. WiFi on the TV was spotty but otherwise it was a great stay.

Quick stay in Ft Lauderdale

Location was excellent quick walk to beach and local attractions/ good restaurants. Unit was a bit dark and window units were a little noisy but unit was overall well appointed. No oven which didn’t affect us but be aware. Pool was very private and warm! Host was very responsive.

There is an oven, it is a convection oven which doubles as a microwave. If you required the use of an oven, one phone call would have informed you. As you said, I was very responsive. You complemented the apartment and yet you only gave 3 stars which seems a bit harsh. The days you visited rained which affects the apartment's brightness as any home would. I am not sure what would have made you give the appropriate review. We have a 4.9 rating for a very good reason which you seemed to acknowledge. We take great pride in making this a 5 star reviewed property, I am baffled by your complements and then the less than 5 stars.

Great place

Sandra's property was perfect for our girl's getaway. Just a short walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to the action on the strip. Apartment was quaint and comfortable. The grounds were lovely. Beach wagon and use of beach chairs was key. Just be aware that the wagon is shared and for use on a first come, first served basis. Sandra was great at responding to all communication. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! I brought my daughter and her friend here for their senior year trip and it was absolutely perfect! Very clean, beautiful landscaping, relaxing pool and had everything we needed! Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and the wagon/beach chairs were so nice! Close walk to beach, shopping and restaurants and very quick to uber to/from airport. We felt very safe with gated entrance and the residents and other guests were all very friendly and suggested fun places in town. Sandra's communication was wonderful from start to finish. We had the best weather and such wonderful memories were made before the girls go off to college. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Exactly as advertised

This is a very nice and clean apartment that is a few blocks walk to the beach. Sandra was very helpful and responsive as I needed to call a couple times including when I locked myself out. Happy with the kitchen functionality as I cooked a decent amount. The master bed was very comfortable and that's important to me. Not a lot of natural light but we were out most of the time anyway. It is also quiet at night, which is good.

Highly Recommended

Property was just as described, maybe better. Great location, clean property with well kept landscaping and pool area! The 2 bedrooms with 2nd having 2 beds was perfect for our family of four. Inside was so incredibly clean, it made me feel at home. Everything was just perfect for us on a vacation get-away, knowing that we were going to be out and about a lot. And honestly, it may be the beach cart that puts this place above others. So convenient for us not to worry about getting/bringing beach towels, chairs and umbrellas…it’s all there for you! It made it so easy to take the short walk to the beach. I know another poster mentioned this, but I almost didn’t want to leave a review because this place is truly a hidden gem. However, we owe it to the property owners to leave our highest recommendation of this place. Book with confidence.

We take great pride in keeping our apartment clean and feeling like home with the added amenities like beach towels and chairs and umbrellas. We are opening our next location just next door in a few months. Next time you come, you can bring friends to stay next door. We really enjoy having families stay.

Did not have good experience.

This is a nice retirement community. Most units are occupied with full-time elderly residents and do not like the other units being rent out. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. So, our 1 hour experience was sadly unpleasant, we left after 1 hour of arriving! Unit owner was very short and unaccommodating. Sad to say, they would not even provide any refund knowing we did not even use the unit. We found place down the street for less money.

This is NOT a retirement community. Unfortunately, Kerry and her teenage friends lied about their ages in order to book our apartment. We were told that an adult of at least 25 years of age was renting, but that was not true. It is very clearly stated on our site that you MUST be at least 25 years of age to rent. These young women chose to leave after we advised them that their mother had to either stay as stated or they would all have to leave. This is NOT a party house and our page clearly states that. These young women were here on spring break and were dishonest about their stay. No refund was requested and none would have been given. This is the height of our season. They lied and they paid the price for their deception. To now write a one star review is further evidence of their dishonesty. Shame on them and their parents for aiding in their deception.

There's a lot to like about this house

Overall we had a very nice time. The apartment is clean and well furnished. It's about a 3 block walk to the beach and we appreciated the beach amenities at our disposal. The bed was very comfortable. The linens and other supplies were of high quality. I am not sure what experiences the owner has had in the past that may have colored their attitude towards us, but when an issue arose we weren't treated very respectfully. The microwave did not work upon arrival. It is a combo microwave/oven and we intended to cook most meals. At first the owner did not believe me and it took a video to prove that it wasn't working. We then offered to take time from our vacation to get a microwave at a store so that we could at least have that. This is the last thing I wanted to do on my vacation, yet I was treated as if I was asking a favor. I even sent the serial and model number so they could get it fixed for the next guests. You can imagine my surprise when we were scolded and treated as children for zipping up our suitcases at 11:08 to leave the last day after letting in the repairmen to fix the microwave. I have not been treated like this at any VRBO, hotel or anywhere else. It was completely unnecessary and very demeaning. If you have no issues, this is a great place to stay. Hopefully the owners would treat the next snafu with more grace. As I stated there's a lot to like about this apartment.

First of all, we appreciate your kind words regarding the apartment. With respect to the microwave, we were out of town and we couldn’t get a repairman there on a Sunday. We did not disbelieve that it didn’t work, we wanted to insure that it wasn’t just a simple reset…for your benefit. You insisted on purchasing a microwave and we reimbursed you as soon as you provided a receipt. With respect to your leaving time, the repairman came at 11:45, checkout is at 11:00, and you had not even packed your things. As a matter of fact my husband chased you down to return your laptop that you had set up and left behind. We had a guest following your checkout and they deserve to have a clean apartment upon arrival, as it was for your arrival. We treat all our guests with the utmost respect. I am sorry you felt disrespected, it was never intended.

Our stay was nice, the only thing that could have made it better was the cable tv kept cutting in and out. This went on for our entire stay.
