Amazingly peaceful!

The cabin was perfect. Sitting on the screened in porch listening to the tree frogs in the evening was so peaceful. The setting is so beautiful and relaxing.

Very nice cabin and property. Quiet, relaxing and private.

Rain pretty much for 4 days while there. Grilled out and hit the hot tub, played games and hung out on the enclosed porch. Went to some covered bridges, an old grist mill, a glass blower, and an antique mall. So, a good relaxing break from the city.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Waters Edge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge cabin. We especially liked the enclosed back porch with the hot tub. There was a bedroom downstairs and another upstairs. There is a pond behind the cabin with a trail that is supposed to go all the way around the pond. A large tree has fallen across the trail, so you cannot walk the loop around the pond. I still enjoyed walking back there with my dogs. The cabin was clean when we arrived! We will definitely be going back!

The Water's Edge was perfectly located, clean with a beautiful view.

This was the perfect getaway my husband and I needed. The cabin was clean and accommodating. The view of the pond from the balcony was gorgeous. The location was secluded but close enough to Old Man's cave, Ashcave and Cedar Falls.

We enjoyed our time at Water’s edge. It was close enough to all the Hocking Hills destinations, my kids really enjoyed having the pond to fish at and it was nice to have a hot tub to enjoy, although it really didn’t get warm until the day we were leaving but was good enough and I did see that was noted due to draining/cleaning so expected it. The cabin had everything we needed, ample linens, comfortable sleeping arrangements, a few games my kids enjoyed playing. I must have overlooked no dishwasher and would have brought more paper products, but not a big deal. The only concern I have was the lack of railing on the loft area, my kids are older so it wasn’t an issue but I’d caution anyone with younger children as it’s definitely a fall risk.

Terrific cabin!

The cabin was absolutely stunning! Very clean inside and out. I really liked how they are spaced far enough apart from neighboring cabins so you have total privacy. It’s a great little getaway for families. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to come back!

Weekend Getaway

The waters edge cabin was perfect for our family of 4! It was really clean, had a great pond to fish from and we were supplied with all of the essentials (paper products, trash bags, cleaning supplies and kitchen supplies) we needed for the weekend. My family loved it here! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful

The cabin was beautiful & clean. The pond was great for fishing, kids really enjoyed it. I loved that i could be in the hot tub upstairs & still watch everyone catch fish.

We were very pleased with this property! So cozy and relaxing! The hot tub and the pond was a complete bonus. Very clean and well organized. My only regret was not booking a longer stay! We travel alot and this location was up there in my top 5!

BEST "CAMPING" EVER

We had stayed at a different cabin for 4 times in a row and wanted to try something different. This place was AMAZING! We were impressed at the start at how welcoming, cleanly, and FRESH SMELLING the cabin was. The kitchen was neatly appointed with most everything we needed. The outside was even better. The grounds were so quiet (except for the birds). We had a great time walking the pond, fishing was GREAT, WE CANT WAIT TO BOOK AGAIN :)

Overall the stay was good the location excellent and the stocked pond brought the crickets and frogs at night which was perfect. The cabin had everything, enough towels in bathroom and all the kitchen appliances, utensils and plates. The only negative is that the couch wasn’t vacuumed from previous renters before us and they had a dog or dogs we got hair all on our clothes and the back porch wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed there was hair dirt and leaves on the floor. Otherwise we were very happy

Cabin waterfront

The cabin was very! You have amazing housekeeping,they should be awarded!! My check in was horrible,I did not get a code for the lockbox,I had to ask someone on the property for it, communicating is key!!!

Nice Retreat but Not Great

Overall good. Needs a platform at near the pond edge with outdoor chairs. A little dated but functional. Clean. Hot tub quite old. Storm that came through knocked it out and we were not able to use.

We had a great stay at this cabin in Hocking Hills. The cabin was comfortable and located in a peaceful setting that made it easy to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature, especially the little pond. It had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway, and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed the hot tub a lot!The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few small details could be improved. A few additional kitchen supplies and amenities would have made the stay even more convenient and comfortable. Nothing major, just a few things that stood out. For example, some of the utensils in the drawer were not clean, there was no plastic wrap or aluminum foil available, the bedrooms could use mirrors, and there was a hole in the patio screen that should be repaired.Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Hocking Hills, and we would be happy to stay here again.
