This location is beautiful right on the lake and the house is big enough to comfortably host large families, while still feeling cozy and comfy. Proximity to additional lakes, hikes and nearby towns was great! Just be aware, that there are so many rules and notes all throughout the property that can feel overwhelming at first. I totally understand owners wanting to protect their homes, but I found myself overthinking about every potential additonal charge (was that stain already there? Or will that be an extra charge? Did we have 1 too many bags of trash? Extra charge.) Considering the price of the listing, the cleaning fee, the deposit and the additional rental contract, it all felt just a little excessive, for a house in pretty normal condition. Couple other callouts--there is no fire pit as listed, only a gas fire table (which was hard to use considering the wind). There are also only 5 outdoor chairs to enjoy the deck, consider bringing your own if you want to spend time outside on the property for a large group. The little bench out by the rocks was nice for star gazing at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the house met our needs.

Such a great property! We got to enjoy some snow and beautiful views during our weekend stay. The rental managers are great, we have rented with them before & super appreciate the ease of the links with details provided and level of communication.

Comfortable cabin in a wonderful location

We visited Lakeside in the winter and much appreciated there was something to do for everyone's taste. The location allowed for beautiful walks in the snow, but, equally, we could stay comfortably inside. The property was well furnished and the property managers provided clear instructions and stayed in contact throughout the stay.

Great location and hosts

This house is in an amazing location, steps away from the lake with a fire pit along the shore. The lake level was down so we got to walk along the shore which was nice. The game room is a fun addition. Ipen floor plan provides lots of opportunities for everyone to hang out together. It had the best stocked kitchen as far as utensils and appliances I have ever stayed in. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return, especially in the summer!

Beautiful!

The whole experience at this house was amazing. Property was exactly as described. View is incredible. House was extremely clean. We had everything we needed for cooking, bedding was exceptional, and there was plenty of everything. We hope to be back!

Great property with lovely views of the lake and mountains

The sweeping views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking! Our family enjoyed some board games which were in the house, there was lot of cooking - the kitchen is fully stocked and grill was convenient to use. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and we spent an evening lighting a fire in the fire pit below the house, with mountains shining in the moonlight. Note that we did not eat out so cannot comment on nearby restaurants.

Wonderful family getaway weekend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a total of 13 guests(Plus our dog) stay at this beautiful home over 4th of July weekend for family festivities. The home was gorgeous, ample room, clean and a wonderful layout for our needs. The deck, grill, fire pit, lake access and open concept living space were my particular highlights. Everything was cleaned and well-stocked, as expected. The open-communication with host was apredicated, although we didn't need to contact them since they provided ample pre-check in expectations and information. Beautiful layout and all the essentials were provided. I would highly recommend this space for a family getaway on a beautiful lake setting.Game room was a hit!

Very Nice Overall with Minor Issues

This is a nice big house suitable for a group. The views of the lake are absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with every possible kind of thing you could want. The game room was very fun with ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey. The most misleading thing was that I booked the property thinking we would be able to swim in the lake right from the house, however, because of the decreased waterline there was no way To get down there. In order to swim in the lake, we would’ve had to drive over to the nearby beach where there were hundreds of cars and blasting music which could be heard from the cabin. So we decided not to. There were some minor maintenance and cleanliness issues which I have reported to the property management, and I am assuming they will be addressed before somebody else comes to rent the place. There were plenty of towels for everyone.

A perfect lakeside holiday home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a long family weekend - had an awesome time. The property is perfectly located - right next to the lake (awesome views from three bedrooms and the living room), accessible by road and nearby towns. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, clean and modern. The high point was the sit out, lake views, and the fact that you could actually climb the stairs to a private sit out near the lakeside. We clambered over the rocks to skip stones on the lake - though that is not straightforward as one has to clamber over the rocks and pebbles. Another high point was the hot tub - adequate for our party of five. We also spent some time in the separate games room (converted garage) - where you could do foosball, ping pong or air hockey. The property management team was always accessible and responsive.

Great for groups that like to be together as this is an open concept home. We came for a week in early April. No snow around the house, but 6 miles up the road we are in the mountains snowmobiling (first time for us and fantastic). Cons: Kitchen sink water pressure sucks, master bedroom sink drain was very slow. Surprised: Heated bathroom floors, nearby drive on the beach (next time plan to rent dune buggies)

Multi-Generation Lakeside Fun

We had three generations comfortably stay for a week in August. Older generation enjoyed the views of the lake while relaxing on the deck. The big excitement was watching the fire planes fly into the lake to collect water. The rest of us enjoyed the view and playing in the lake. The kitchen is well stocked and includes an extra smaller fridge which we used for drinks. Having the master on the main level was a necessity for us as my elderly parents are unable to navigate stairs safely. The ramp leading up to the house is also a bonus. The house is very close to Roslyn, we went into town a few times and enjoyed lunch at The Brick. Another day the kids and adults played golf on the three hole practice course at nearby Suncadia. This was our second stay at the house and we will for sure return for a third!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Lakeside. One thing that would have made it better would have been heat in the downstairs bedroom. There was no heating vented into that room. which would be fine in the summer. There was a lack of toilet paper - one roll per bathroom for a two night stay (7 women) is not a sufficient amount. We had to go buy our own. The beach is not sandy but very rocky.

Nice view, but dirty.

This property needs some major improvements in order to enjoy the stay. Poor entertainment options. Poorly equiped kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. Lots of dust, pet and human hair from previous visitors, everything you touch feels and looks dirty. Downstairs bedroom occupants: be ready to hear all the noise if there is activity upstairs. Pictures on the website look good. That fooled us. Two stars goes to the view. Do your research before booking.
