Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second time staying in the unit. Super clean and modern appliances. The only disappointment was the bed. It’s worn out and needs replacing during our first stay in 2023. We were hoping it was replaced but alas, it was not. It’s a horrible bed and simply killed out backs.

Clean comfortable condo

Condo was clean, newly remodeled and well stocked. Great location to beach and Hilton Hawaiian Village. We didn't cook much but it looked like it had everything you would need. No beach chairs or mats but there was an umbrella. Bed was softer than we like but they did have a variety of pillows which was nice. Overall would recommend and we ould book again.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo did not disappoint. It is well equipped and has great amenities. We had a key fob issue. We were expecting two fobs for our stay and we got one fob for our room and the 2nd fob was for another unit. The phone in the kitchen was not working. May have needed batteries. Please include instructions on how to operate and recharge the remote controlled blinds.

Excellent Property Management

Lovely stay in a unit that was stocked perfectly. Very comfortable bed. Good parking spot, in a location that does not require walking up steps to get to the elevators. Friendly building staff and residents. The market across the street is well stocked. Would definitely book again with this property management company. Notes for travelers: Downtown Honolulu is always loud, so using a white noise app helps. Downtown is nice for walking, so is often worth the noise. This property is not on a loud bus stop route, so is quieter than most. For those traveling with wheelchair, walker, and / or crutches - the pool, hot tub, and women’s dry sauna have steps leading to them. The men’s dry sauna does not have steps so can be accessed using crutches or a thin walker. There are about 4 steps down to the pool area - then about 4 steps up to the women’s sauna, and about 12 steps down to the hot tub (the hot tub then has 2 steps leading up to it). There are helpful handrails at all steps and into wet amenities. The pool is heated well, as are the hot tub and dry sauna.

Waikiki Gem

Truly, a hidden gem in the middle of Waikiki! The building is a bit outdated, however, the condo is beautifully renovated and spotless! Condo is also located in a very safe area. Offers a secured parking garage and visitors must be buzzed into the lobby by a security guard. Some of the perks we enjoyed were, NO resort fees, FREE (assigned) parking, digital deadbolt lock, washer and dryer in the unit, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. Condo is centrally located to Waikiki strip, shops, restaurants, and the beach. Host (Vincent) was very attentive and responsive to our inquiries and requests. Thank you for making our trip to HI memorable! We look forward to visiting and staying with you in the future!

We stayed in few different units in this building (Four Paddle) and I would say this unit (#708) is my favorite. Newer furniture and updated, well maintained and beautiful. Captain Cook manager was very responsive and easy to deal with, check in and check out was very quick and easy! Would definitely recommend and return.

Pool not open

The condo was great, location was great, having the on-site car park was great, however not having the pool open was NOT great. When we booked the pool was supposed to be ready to reopen after several months of a makeover in late October, however we found upon arrival that it was not going to be ready now until at least the third week in November, too late for us. This was a major black mark on our stay.

This was one fantastic place to stay. The whole apartment was clean, fresh, and well equipped. The attention to detail here in the fresh remodel was as good as anyone’s personal home, making it not feel like a rental at all. I would not hesitate to book again if I were to come back to Honolulu. Me and my wife were extremely pleased with this place. Thank you!

Perfect Location

The condo was in a perfect location! It was also equipped with everything you would need! There is a full kitchen with every pot, pan and storage container you’d ever need. The building is quiet. It’s an easy walk to a million restaurants and stores and, of course, the beautiful beach. There is also a great little market across the street where we enjoyed morning coffee and a sandwich several times. When we walked around we always felt safe. We would definitely stay here again.

The quality of the apartment was exceptional with full kitchen, washer/dryer and car park. The apartment was in a great location close to the all the chaos on Kalakaua Ave. We dealt with James and he was attentive and really made sure that we had a great time on our vacation. We had a little mishap two days before leaving and he was proactive and had the situation rectified within hours. You can't go wrong with this place. We can't wait to come back to Four Paddles.
