Great place to stay for 4-5 people.

We loved this great little apartment right across the street from the beach. Clean, modern, and the owners were very helpful and easy to work with. You can't beat the location - right across the road from Long Sands beach.

The location of this property was perfectly situated directly across the street from long sands.

Donna was the most accommodating host!! The 3rd floor owners and the 2nd floor renters were all very friendly and the area was very quiet and a perfect place for families with great parking.

Perfect Place

The cozy house was well maintained and had everything that we needed. My niece especially liked to sit at the outside table, because she had privacy. The other plus is the close proximity to the beach !

Beautiful hidden gem on long sands beach

This is our second time to this condo on long sands beach. The property owner is super responsive and attentive to any questions that may arise. The beds are all comfortable and it is the perfect location if you are staying in York, Maine. The location is literally steps away from long sands beach and easy parking in and out.

Great Location

This unit is in a great location on Long Sands Beach. You are right across the street from the beach! It’s very easy to walk to Short Sands or to one of the many restaurants nearby. Donna was wonderful to work with and she truly cares about her renters and wants them to have the best experience possible.

Perfect location

The unit was cute, clean and welcoming. It’s right across the street from the beach and close to the bath house and convenience store. You can see Nubble Lighthouse from the sidewalk! Donna was very responsive and a great host.

This unit is great. The owner has thought of everything. Very responsive to any questions. The location could not be better. Our family had a super time. We look forward to coming again!

Absolutely perfect!

The condo was meticulous when we arrived, the owner was so thoughtful and welcoming, everything we needed was there. It’s a perfect location on Long Sands Beach. When we were there the AC went out and the owner was responsive immediately and got someone out to fix it. I can’t wait to go back!

Proximity to the beach 5 stars!

This is such a beautiful rental. The space is comfortable and you can't beat being across the street from the beach. Donna is incredibly flexible and kind. I feel like she genuinely cares that people have a good time and enjoy this happy place! The condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay and Donna is quick to respond to questions or anything that crops up! We look forward to going back again and again!

Best location for a trip with young child

Location, location, location! The apartment is right across the street from one of the best spots on Long Beach. There is also a little convenience store a block and a half or so away. Was a life saver when it came to hungry bellies. Donna was super helpful and responsive during our stay. Great beach vacation overall! One for the books.

Cozy and relaxing!

What a cozy and comfortable apartment, with the best location! We ended up using the kitchen much more than planned because we were so comfortable. PERFECT location, we loved taking multiple walks up and down the beach. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the little markets, restaurants, and ice cream stands all along Long Beach Ave. Donna was so easy to communicate with, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Home Away from Home

York is such a sweet village and evokes so many happy memories. We love having such a nice place to stay. Donna, our hostess , puts so much into accomodating her guests. She adds to the enjoyment of our vacation. The condo is so comfortable and spectacularly located across the street from longs sands. We have rented from Donna for several years now and it feels like home! Always have a few tears in my eyes when vacation is over and we head out!

Can’t beat the location!!

The property is exactly as advertised. Donna was great and very helpful by providing detailed instructions for an easy check in. The house is right across the street from the beach so it was perfect for my two young boys. We could stay on the beach for the morning, leave our stuff and easily come home for lunch and naptime and then head back after. It’s also very close to a food stand/convenience which was awesome. The house had all the basic necessities, an awesome picnic table and umbrella and we felt at home all week!

The best stay in southern Maine

The location of Donna’s home can’t be beat. We have two little ones so not having to pack everything up for the entire day for the beach makes our vacation so much more relaxing. Going back and fourth to the house is a breeze as it’s right across the street from the beach. This is our second stay here and we are looking forward to our third next summer! Donna is the sweetest and you can tell she truly wants you to enjoy her home just as much as she does. The home is clean, has all the necessities, and we love having our meals on the picnic table on the deck and we listen to the waves crashing.

Donna does it right

I'm almost tongue tied to try to describe how wonderful Donna and her property are. The location wont get much better, the space is lovely and has everything you will need to be comfortable and feel right at home. Lots of storage, plenty of hooks to hang things, very clean and organized. Donna is just great, ensuring our stay was as expected and that we had everything we needed. She really goes above and beyond. This was by far the most comfortable and clean rental we have had since renting in York. While all the owners/managers have been great. Donna knocks it out of the park!

Can’t wait to return!!

We absolutely LOVED our trip!! The apartment was a perfect size for our family with 3 kids. The bedrooms were a nice size and was able to fit a pack n play for our infant. The pictures accurately depict the apartment and it really is so beautiful. Having laundry was also great as we tracked lots of sand playing at the beach. I can’t say enough about the location. The beach is across the street, plenty of parking & walking distance to stores, restaurants and driving distance to town. We also loved how you can see the lighthouse from the beach as well! My only suggestion is to pack a pot or frying pan if you plan to cook. The owner, Donna was also amazing to work with. She made sure we were settled and was reachable at all hours to help with any of our questions. We will no doubt be back & honestly, we can’t wait to return.

Love our stay at Longsands

Donna communicated with us prior to our stay to let us know if there are changes to the property or any thing we need to know about the beach and the village. We had a wonderful 2 week stay and look forward to going back next year. Donna is always thoughtful and considerate of her guests . We really appreciate her efforts. I feel like she really looks out for us! The rental is very comfortable and you can't get any better for the location.

Long Sands beach is an hour and a half away from our home in MA and spending even one day there is like a vacation for us, an escape from our hectic , high stress businesses. Our dream is to one day stay in our beach condo for weeks at a time, but until then, our home is your home! :)

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with York ME and Long Sands Beach many years ago. We spent years renting motel rooms nearby for long weekends but dreamed that one day we would have a place across the street from our favorite beach, a place that feels like home. The condo is one level, no steps to climb for those of us who are entering our golden years:) Super convenient for those with young children too, no stairs to climb with kids in tow and not to mention, all those beach toys!!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Waking up early, making a cup of coffee and walking outside to watch the sunrise , taking a morning stroll on the beach, is like a dream come true....the absence of a water view from our rear unit is surprisingly a plus, encouraging us to walk outside to experience the ocean while also providing added quiet from the busy beach road traffic when we're home cooking, reading, working or napping :)
