Walk to Lifts, 2 Bed 2 Bath in the Heart of Everything Park City

Welcome to Empire House 1A, your perfect spot to enjoy the largest ski resort in the United States. Nestled in the heart of downtown Park City, Utah, Empire 1A is a quaint, old-school mountain hideaway convenient to everything Park City has to offer in both winter and summer.

With its distinctive Victorian architecture and it's “Old Town” location directly across the street from Park City Mountain Resort, Empire House is a local treasure just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. There are just 12 coveted units in Empire House and only two that offer two bedrooms and two baths, making 1A a perfect winter and summer retreat for couples, families and other groups of seven or fewer.

Open the front door and you are greeted by Park City Mountain. 1A is a three-minute walk to the base area, including the “First Time”, “Crescent” and “Payday” lifts. No loading or parking hassles, no fumbling with gear on stairs or an elevator. Just put on your gear and go. If you're a mountain biker, access the entire Park City Mountain trail system via the Crescent Lift, a one-minute ride out your front door. Need to rent a bike or skis? Cole Sport is a few minutes' walk down Empire Ave.

The Main Street district is a ten-minute walk from 1A. There, you can enjoy world-class dining, entertainment, shopping and “Park Silly”, an open-air artist market and street festival held on Sundays during the Summer. Are pickleball, tennis, basketball or skate and bike parks on your itinerary? Beautiful “City Park” is one block from your 1A headquarters.

Great place to stay while skiing in Park City. Easy walk to the slopes and Main Street. Clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Park City Weekend

Great stay in an amazing location. Fantastic rental for 2 couples looking to enjoy the slopes and downtown of Park City. Thin walls and noisy upstairs neighbors was the only downside. Would stay here again no question.

Perfect ski location

Perfect, cozy vacation home - spacious and clean. Walking distance to Mountain village can’t be beat. We didn’t have hot water for 24+ hours which was not ideal, but management had great communication.

Great condo in a fabulous location!

Being able to walk everywhere, even in winter, was fabulous! The condo was clean and spacious, fire place a nice feature. Location was the best, and with a patch of snow to play on in the front yard.

Excellent location and value

Great ski rental very close to the slopes. It was a bit tight for 6 of us, but would have worked for our original plan of 5 when we booked it. Only improvement is the unit needs more wine glasses and coffee mugs!

Great location!

This cozy little spot in a perfect location. Walking distance to the shops on Main Street and directly across from the ski lifts. Great communications with Turnkey. So close to restaurants and nightlife. Short drive to Salt Lake City and the salt flats. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to be right in the middle of things in Park City.

Great location, good place

Great location, walk to base area. Quick access to bus (1stop to downtown). Good place, nicely decorated, the one critique is that no one seems to care about the little things, knives dull, pots and pans broken, dishwasher handle broken, towel holders loose, lights wobbly... But we dealt with it and it all worked well. I would stay there again.

Fantastic Spot

There can't be a better location in Park City. A 200 yard walk to the resort, so it was 10 minutes from the time we walked out the door until we were on the lifts. Same short walk to catch the shuttle to Main Street. The place was perfectly comfortable, and we had 6 adults. We will be staying here on our next trip back to Park City. Thanks from Brandon Bates and the rest of the Birmingham, Alabama crowd!

Empire House

The location is amazing. 2 second walk to the lifts, 2 second walk to main street. Very spacious unit with all the amenities you would need (washer/dryer, full kitchen, wifi, tv/cable). Very large unit, 2 bed rooms with a pull out sofa bed in the living room, 2 full baths, and huge living room area to wind down in. Couldn't of asked for a better room and location for Park City.

Location! Location!

We were two couples in this 2BR/2Bath condo - here to ski. It was very clean and comfortably furnished. It was an easy walk across the Resort parking lot to access the ski rental shop and lift. So nice! We took a shuttle from Airport and were just fine all week without a car. Easy walk to Fresh Market and the free city bus got us anywhere we needed. It was a short walk to Main Street, where we found lots of good restaurants, shops, and art galleries.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was perfect . We stayed here for 4 months we didnt have a lot of problems tho. The only thing i whould improve was attention to details when cleaning . The rest was perfect! I strongly recomand this place .

Well located Condo

Two couples stayed comfortably in this cosy Condo well situated across the road from the Park City lift and walking distance to town. The amenities were reasonable however a little maintenance was in order and the unfinished cleaning prior to our arrival let the place down a little. If you are sensitive to noise note that movements from condo above and garage door below are audible.

Convenient unit with plenty of space and all needed amenities

Convenient location, everything as pictured and expected, great communication from prop mgr and check-in. Plenty of space in apt - good value for our last minute booking. Parking pass was missing - property mgr said don't worry, but still got a parking violation and threat to boot car. Unit is on first floor so easy to access but some light noise from upstairs and street.

Convenient Location and Well Appointed

Our family of 3 stayed in this unit on a weekend getaway to ski in Park City. The unit is very spacious and literally across the parking lot from the ski lifts. The unit is spotless with a well appointed kitchen, coffee maker, tea kettle including a washer and dryer. Our college age son enjoyed having his private room and bath. The unit could sleep six if someone was willing to sleep on a pull out sofa in the living room. There was a nice fireplace which provided great warmth to the unit. We would rent this again.

Great location excellent value.

For the price this place is great! It's clean, a full 2Br 2Ba and has a decent kitchen (though we didn't use it). Heated garage underneath the place is nice too. It is directly across the parking lot from the PC express chairs, so no fooling with the slow town lift. The buses stop 100 yards away as well. My only issue is the key code for the door lock. A ten digit number (that isn't your phone #) is difficult to remember and makes it hard fumbling around for access, especially at night.
