This charming home, over 100 years old, is located in the Merrimack Historic District and features a spacious backyard. Just minutes from the Space Center, Redstone Arsenal, and downtown, it's an ideal spot! Pets are welcome for a fee. The Space:
This beautiful old home has been completely updated. Hardwood floors throughout have been refinished and kitchen remodeled. Large fenced backyard is perfect for a family picnic or BBQ, and history buffs will love exploring the home and neighborhood!
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, and there is a grill with the property.
This is an older historic house, with all the charm of an older home. Please note that there are no bathrooms upstairs, and several guests have mentioned that the stairs are a bit steep. We try to be as up front as possible about the quirks of the home, so please feel free to reach out to us with any questions regarding the home.

The Neighborhood:
The Old Town historic neighborhood is filled with beautifully maintained historic houses. The neighbors are super friendly, so don't be surprised if they wave and say hello as you are coming and going!
The neighborhood was an old mill town. The company built all of the homes virtually alike, so you will see the same design of house throughout the neighborhood. Don't be surprised if you find some marbles or coal from where the neighborhood kids used to play!
The neighborhood is next to a very large soccer complex that often hosts tournaments, so if you are in town for a tournament, chances are this is the place to be!
Getting Around:
Definitely enjoy a stroll along manicured sidewalks to enjoy the local amenities!
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
This is an older historic home. The staircase is a little steeper than modern homes. The yard is also not entirely fenced in.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
