Wonderful stay! The pet-friendly cabin was just what we needed for a quick weekend away. Plenty of space for our family of four. We enjoyed the decor, comfy beds, scenic surroundings, wildlife (we saw a baby deer and its mom from the deck) and more! Hosts were courteous, responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in this beautiful place and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was unique and charming. Everything you needed was included. The host had excellent communication and was easy to work with. The property was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved all the sleeping options! Fit our family of six just right. The community has lots of fun things to do and a restaurant very close (with amazing pizza!).

First off I want to say, thanks to host Charleese @ The Eagles Nest. We did arrive about an hour little early before check-in to peep the properties location, which was nestled in a brussel of beautiful pine trees etc. My sister and I was celebrating Mother's day weekend with our morher and it was a pleasure. The Nest(cabin) was cozy, beautiful and everything the photos showed on the website, which exceeded our expectations. Actually it was extra. We had a request and Charleese was able to supply our needs. My mother said she would do this again. Our Queen had spoken , so well be back hopefully soon. Massanutten is a beautifully safe and fun resort.

This is a unique place to stay. It feels like you are in a treehouse in summer. Keep in mind it's an A-frame (very open floor plan) with one private bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms overlook the 1st floor. Beautiful views from the large windows. It's decorated in a Scandinavian style, very comfortable and super clean. The photos and video represent it perfectly. The host is beyond responsive answering all communication almost instantly. Easy check in and check out. Although we didn't use any of the Massanutten Resort facilities the house is located onsite. We stayed 4 nights and the property was perfect for a married couple, our 18 year old daughter and her 21 year old male friend who slept in the downstairs bedroom with his own bathroom for privacy. The winding staircase and cute little 3rd floor loft bedroom convinced us (and especially our daughter) to book this place for her senior trip. The upstairs twin bed is an air mattress but my daughter said it was comfortable and she slept well. We used the gas firepit on the deck for s'mores and it was so easy and fun. I would completely recommend this place. In summer you will see and hear birds in the early morning hours. The kitchen has everything we needed to make simple dinners. I'd give this place 10 stars.

Wonderful location within the Massanutten resort community. Easy check in. Prompt/easy communication with host. Interior is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The yoga/meditation loft and kids' reading room are both creative, unexpected use of space. Great ideas! Easy wifi connection, well stocked kitchen, relaxing study area, 2 huge bathrooms with high end finishes, relaxing wrap around deck with gas grill and gas firepit, overlooking dense trees. (We loved the three bucks that joined us for morning coffee.) We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, lunch at the Grill and evening walks with our pup around the tranquil neighborhood. Eagle's Nest exceeded our expectations. We had such a wonderful stay, we hope to book it again for our anniversary in Oct.

I love the Massanutten resort area because it is an opportunity to get away from the busy DC area to relax, breathe clean air and get outdoors! I love the nearby hiking trails and the ski slopes and I also love that there is something for everyone to enjoy - the Indoor/Outdoor Water Park, Golf Course, miniature golf, go karts, bumper cars, a spa, the nearby wineries ... I absolutely love this area!
