Efficiency cozy studio condo in prime location

Beachview 225 is a cozy efficiency studio condo located in the heart of Gulf Shores right across the street from The Hangout. It has a queen bed, bathroom, and small kitchenette with refrigerator. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. A laundry room with coin-operated machines is located on-site. Queen. Sleeps 2. No monthly rentals.

Beachview Condominiums is three stories small complex in the heart of Gulf Shores. It sits directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, The Hangout, Pink Pony Lounge, and the Gulf Shores Public Beach. Mikee's Seafood and Picnic Beach Restaurant are both directly behind Beachview. It consists of 50 condos built in 1995 with mostly small efficiency units. The condo's prime location is one of its best attributes. There is some covered parking for smaller cars. Compact Cars Only. No trucks or SUVs are allowed and will not fit under the parking garage entrance. Parking for larger vehicles is beside and behind the complex.

The minimum age is 25 to rent.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for about a week for vacation. It was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, the room stayed cool and it was well equipped with amenities. It was also very conveniently located as it was right across the road from the beach, the hangout, and some great food. We loved our stay and will stay again.

The Good:The kitchen ware was nice. Bed comfortable. The Bad:Coffee maker doesnt work properly. It only brews about 1/2 of the water. Blender leaks at bottom. The tub is peeling and rusted. So a shower mat is in place. The shower had a hair tie that was left in shower. The worse: On check out day, my truck was towed away because the garage says "only cars" and trucks should park in rear lot. However, it fails to say that towing is enforced should a truck park there. There are no cameras in the building, only out in parking garage. Which only indicates they are not concerned with the safety of their customers that pay to stay but rather only to make money from those who drive a truck. It is merely to make money. There are signs that indicate your vehicle will be towed if no permit is shown because it is private prolerty. There were SUV's and Jeeps parked in garage for the 4 nights we stayed. They are not cars, because a car is a sedan not a Sports Utility Vehicle. Yet, never towed. My truck is a mid size truck that clears the height requirement. I have stayed there numerous times and loved the location but will never stay again.

BEWARE

Sunday morning before checkout, our truck was towed along with 5 other vehicles around 5am. After parking under the condo all weekend with a parking pass, as we thought we were supposed to. The only signage/warning that exists is a “NO TRUCK PARKING” as you enter the parking garage. As any normal person would think, we thought that meant semi trailers and/or box trucks. We cleared the clearance bar, had our parking pass, we thought we were good. Along with our vehicle, there were 4 other trucks and a large SUV towed out of the garage. No warning, no phone call, no violation sticker, no door knock. A ride from a Good Samaritan from Gulf Shores to Foley (because there were no Ubers/Lyfts available, and 280 later, we were able to leave and come back home. This is a racket set up between the HOA and the towing company. Nothing different. We won’t spend our money here again.

The price and the location is right. The bed is a full size bed, that’s very uncomfortable in our opinion. Other than that we had a very good experience staying here.

Perfect for a girls- 4 day weekend trip. Kitchen had only microwave and toaster oven to cook with. No door to the bathroom, only a curtain. No way to get linens for the futon or extra towels, toilet paper or trash bags. Great location for Gulf Shores. Across the road from the beach, walking distance to a lot of places if you did not drive or rent a car. Host replied quickly and was helpful.

Great location, close to The Hangout and beach. Double bed was not the most comfortable. Good value for the price and the location is tough to beat.
