Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 20 mins): Enjoy Hiking, Fishing, Golf and Swimming. Several trails, including the Cacapon Mountain Trail, offer great views and varying levels of difficulty. The park is also home to an 18-hole golf course and a swimming pool to enjoy during winter months.

The Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad (distance from house - 1 hour): Take a scenic train ride through the Potomac Valley, known for its breathtaking views of the river, mountains, and wildlife (including bald eagles). It's a fun and relaxing way to explore the area.
