Relaxing cabin in WV Mountain with a rustic charm and outdoor firepit
Relax with the family or slip away for a romantic weekend at this peaceful place to stay in the historic town of Berkeley Springs, WV.
Located just 3 miles from Cacapon State Park and 9 miles to the heart of downtown! The space Mountain Momma is located in the historic town of Berkeley Springs, WV. There's something here for everyone to enjoy!
Pleasantly with the location and how nice the cabin was the host is very responsive and sweet. Love the location. It was close to pretty much everything that we wanted within a 9 mile radius and the town of Berkeley Springs was absolutely amazing. Everybody was friendly and it was just such a nice place to detach from city life, and stress of life.
The cabin is located in an area that is very private but within easy driving distance from Berkeley Springs. Ceiling fans throughout, including the wonderful large screened in porch, are very helpful in keeping the cabin cool. The kitchen is well-appointed. The sleeping quarters and living/dining areas are very accommodating.
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Very peaceful surrounded by woods and loved the screened in porch, was delightful even when it rained. Had all we needed and found it to be very comfortable. Didn't use but bunk beds were double bed size. Perfect place to get away for a few days.
Looking to book again. Very peaceful. Very warm setting , very clean. All the necessities that you will ever need was just in Arms reach or few steps away
I would say it would've been perfect if not for the millions of pot holes leading up the turning into the property. There are 2 tree halfway up the driveway that are so close together you barely fit the car through. Besides all that, this place was amazing and relaxing. The doggy loved it! It was only 10-15 mins away from Berkeley Springs State Park and othet attractions. The owner communicated good and was very nice.
We recently had the pleasure of spending a few days in the WV mountains enjoying the splendid autumn colors. The cabin was cozy but spacious providing the comforts of home. I enjoyed sitting out in the screened-in porch relaxing with a cup of coffee and listening to the birds, surrounded by nature. We even saw a couple of deer. Nearby Cacapon State Park was a treat.
The cabin was as we expected. It was rustic. We were disappointed as we didn't see the water as posted in one of the photos; the sliding glass doors leading onto the screened in porch were covered with fingerprints; the windows looked like they hadn't been washed in years, and the sofa in the living room had a slight odor. One of the rocking chairs on the front porch is cracked and looked like someone had just painted over the crack. We were afraid to sit in them. The gravel road leading to the cabin was full of potholes. Lastly, we were most disappointed in the lack of communication from the host. After several attempts of reaching out and offering an alternative to reach us, there was still no response. It was a lovely area, but I would not recommend staying here.
Had a nice stay in West Virginia and the residence. Clean property and we really liked the fireplace. Came in quite handy more than once. Nice to have a 1/2 Master bath for the adults. Kids were happy to have the TV in their room. Even liked the "accommodations" for our pet dog (Bed, Run line). Saw plenty of deer as well.Visits such as Antietam Battlefield and Washington DC were well within a reasonable driving distance. Grocery also near enough to help save costs on eating out every meal. Thank you.B and J
