To help you settle in comfortably, we provide starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and soap. These are meant to cover the first 1–3 days of your stay. If you run out, you're welcome to pick up anything extra you need from nearby stores like Harris Teeter, Food Lion, or Beach Food Mart—just a short drive away.

The highlight of this residential neighborhood is definitely the beach. Whether you want to catch a wave or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll collecting sea shells, Croatan Beach certainly won't disappoint.

Due to very limited public parking, this beach is a lot less crowded than the touristy Resort Beach while offering you a great place to swim, surf, and work on your tan. Because of the property's great location, it only takes 1 min to get to the nearest beach access.

You’ll receive a code to access the keypad lock prior to your arrival. Please note that there is no access to the backyard or to the back of the house, where the owner lives in the inlaw suite. There is no access to the house from the inlaw suite, so you will have full enjoyment and privacy of the house for your group. The owner travels often so it's likely you won't even see them during your trip.

Please note, this is a peaceful residential neighborhood. If you're looking for a party spot, this won't be the right fit and we have a 0 tolerance policy for parties, excessive noise outside, smoking, and drug use. But if you're seeking a relaxing, well-appointed space near the beach to enjoy with family or friends, we'd be happy to host you!

We'd like to take a moment to share our house rules with you, which are designed to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay while also respecting our neighbors and taking care of our home. These are common practices that help us provide a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.

★ Must be at least 21 years old.
★ No shoes in the home. Please leave them by the door.
★ We kindly request that you help us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests by avoiding excessive sand inside the house. As we are located near the beach, sand can easily find its way indoors, and while we understand it's unavoidable to some extent, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in minimizing it as much as possible. While we hate to charge our guests, if our cleaning team charges us an additional fee due to excessive sand that requires extra time and effort to clean, we may need to pass on this cost to you. We recommend shaking off any excess sand before entering the premises and using the outdoor showers to rinse off before coming inside. We also leave brooms and dustpan which you can use. By doing so, you'll help us keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone.
★ No Smoking. Guests can smoke outside, but we simply ask that you pick up the cigarette butts and don't let the smell whiff inside the house. Please be wary of No Smoking signs.
★ No parties and illegal substance.
★ No unauthorized guests. Unauthorized guests will be charged $30 per guest.
★ Please observe quiet hours - 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The homeowners live on the lower level of the house, but don’t worry—they won’t have access to the upper level during your stay. They use a completely separate entrance, so you'll enjoy full privacy.
★ We pay our cleaners fairly and they have a big job to turnover the unit and sanitize. Your appreciation for their hard work can be shown by not leaving excessive mess behind.
★ Please check out by 11 AM. Late check out may result to $30 per hour to compensate our cleaners' time.
★ It is important to reveal the number of guests during the booking process. If there are more than the amount of guests or any gatherings are held, we reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund under lack of adherence to house rules..
★ Renter Agreement needs to be signed. The PDF version of the Renter Agreement is available for you to read during the booking process and before your reservation gets finalized. Our payment processor charges us 3.99% for every transaction. Should the reservation gets canceled, the guest will cover the payment transaction fee of 3.99% for the amount that was already paid, regardless of the cancellation policy.

Please know that any confirmed violations of these rules may lead to reservation cancellation without a refund, along with fines for additional guests, community rule breaches, extra cleaning, and property damage.
