Guest Access:

You'll have full access to the entire cottage, both indoors and out, with easy self-check-in. Guests are also welcome to explore the beautiful grounds and may visit all open buildings on the property, including the mansion and gift shop, during regular museum hours.



The Neighborhood:

Located on the scenic east side of Seneca Lake, Rose Hill Cottage sits on the grounds of Rose Hill Mansion — a fully functioning historic site and museum. Just minutes from downtown Geneva and some of the region’s best wineries and restaurants, the property offers a rare blend of peaceful surroundings, lake views, and rich Finger Lakes history.



Getting Around:

A car is highly recommended for exploring the area. Private taxis/car services and private wine tours are available.



Other Things to Note:

➡️ Please note: We provide cooking basics, with the exception of oil at this time—it will be included in the future.

➡️ A Pack ’n Play is available BY REQUEST ONLY and provided free of charge. Please let us know in advance if you’d like one so we can have it ready for your arrival.

➡️ A long-term resident lives in a separate, private apartment on the property. The cottage is not shared and your space is fully private.

➡️ Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Outdoor smoking must be done away from entrances and disposed of responsibly.

➡️ Guests must sign Get RED-y Vacations' guest rental agreement prior to check-in.

➡️ The museum and gift shop are open to the public during regular hours. Guests may enjoy these spaces during open hours only.

➡️ Guests are welcome to explore the mansion grounds throughout their stay.

➡️ All amenities, including the grill and outdoor furniture, are for guest use at their own risk.

➡️ Please be respectful of museum patrons, staff, and other guests enjoying the property.
