Charming Family & Pet Friendly Barndomium - [formerly Moxie Market]
We welcome you to your adventure home away from home! - we have a spacious barndominium-style spot for families who are ready to get out and stretch, with two acres to wander and a large covered patio with couches and chairs. ~ This property was formerly the Moxie Market and still has that folksy local shop feel. It has a large open floor plan with a coffee bar which can accommodate many different types of guests. ~ The property is located 1/3 mile from exit 33: I90 and Highway 135; it is very easy to find after a long day of travel and Glacier National Park is not far down the Scenic Highway route. ~ The sizable kitchen has large surface areas with plenty of space and tools for prepping and cooking your dishes. ~ In addition to the dining table there are a couple of scattered smaller tables to enjoy games, beverages and fellowship. ~ The old coffee bar area is available with coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, teas and multiple smaller tables to enjoy your beverage and a good book. ~ All space is communal with an insulated curtain dividing off the two main sleeping areas. ~ These include a queen size bed area and an additional bunk bed area which is made up of a full and twin size mattress. The living room also includes a futon which quickly converts to a full size bed. ~ The bathroom is also built to handle mobility challenged individuals with support bars and no step shower.
We were pleasantly surprised to see the place in-person, it gave off the feel of staying in a coffeehouse and market, while adding comfort and privacy at the same time. It was quiet and peaceful, especially being able to sit out on the side patio and lookout towards the mountains. The location was central to everything we needed: grocery store, gift shop, gas station, etc., all within walking distance. The host Marly was friendly, kind, helpful, and responded right away when we had questions. Overall we enjoyed staying at the here. Thank you!
Really enjoyed the space. We were able to spread out and it was functional. Little kids had room to run but beware that it is concrete floor. A few bugs but nothing startling. Host was very amicable to our circumstances. We enjoyed ourselves. Could not find a microwave so we used a toaster oven.
It is an open barn like structure. It lacked coziness and warmth. Only two small windows to the outside. Bedroom curtained off with no outside windows. Main room dark with no natural lighting. It is accurately advertised. Our dog Rosie loved the open outside space.
