Relaxing

Love the Location easy Beach access. Just wish they had the showers by Beach to wash sand off. It was a few bug issues inside the condo like a couple roaches but overall it was very clean and love the property. I will book again next year for sure.

Great location

This is the first time we have stayed on Bay side. Great to step out our door and play the 9 hole par 3 golf course. The condo is prefect for two, more people would be crowded. Kitchen needs some updating. But over all, very enjoyable.

Summer Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I loved the resort! Everything went smoothly from checking in to checking out and everything in between! We felt very safe with the 24 hour onsite security as well as cared for with all of the questions we had with our unit. At one point the owner in the upstairs unit was being very loud so we called security (after hours) and they came right away to reslove the issue. Come to find out the owner wasn't home, but we were told that if we had any other issues to call them back to come out. The unit was also in very good clean condition and we loved the fact that it was close to everything. We will most definetly be back to the resort when we come back to Destin.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are very familiar with properties of Sandpiper cove. This condo needs some love. The air blows great in the living room, but the vent in the bedroom barely blows. The water gets hot but the faucet in the shower must be regulated. The unit has a very nice tub, but no stopper to keep the water in! It does have brand new furniture throughout. The mattress was very uncomfortable. We love Sandpiper, but this unit is not up to the standards we expect.

My experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was nice. The range and sink looked new. I loved the furniture and the bed was nice and comfortable. There were some house roach pest. I mentioned it to the desk clerk, she just asked me to write down any complaints I had on a piece of paper she provided. The cost was more than what I actually agreed upon. Since I used I was told to take that up with them ( but in a nice way). Sandpiper Cove Condominiums is in a nice area. The neighbours we met were quite friendly and courteous. The beach was easily accessible right across the road. Overall it was a pleasant stay, just disliked roaches in the home(I was very concerned with taking them back to my home or it getting them in the car).

Perfect little unit

The par 3 golf course (all holes 62 yards or under) was very challenging. Played it many times and didn’t disappoint. Walk or drive to the beach is perfect. The unit itself had all that you need.

Quick get away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was nice and easy to get to. About a 6 min. walk to the beach. The Queen size bed was comfortable. I don't recommend this bed for two large people. The sofa bed in the living room (queen), was easy to pull out. our fiend put a blowup mattress on it and said that they slept well. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. new refrigerator. Lots of cup's bowels and plates. the draws in the kitchen need work. They need new rails. This unit shows some age but was ok for us. We didn't need a lot of luxury. We came for the beach. which was great. I would rent this unit again.

Nice area

The listing stated that 4 could sleep there, it failed to say bring an air mattress since the hide-a-bed wasn’t suitable for sleeping. Hot water was also hard to come by with just 3 of us needing showers. The hot water heater looked very old. Otherwise it was a nice place for the week

We cleaned and scrubbed the floors for first few days. The couches are very uncomfortable and stained. They need replaced. The cupboard knobs are in disarray. Not clean. Never get this condo. The deck is the nicest part of it.

Husband loved the golf course

My husband loved going out the back porch to golf as he pleased. The kids enjoyed the 20 seconds it took to walk to the pool. The unit needs some cosmetic attention, but we’re not too concerned about that. I was happy that we could drive and park by the beach since it was too long of a walk to lug all our stuff.

No frills, affordable spot near the beach.

The property was well kept and clean. It's an older property, but has been maintained well. The pools were nice and the little golf course was well maintained. The beds were uncomfortable and the bed coverings were thin (we only got one per bed, no extra blankets of any kind). The kitchen has just the bare necessities. Overall, for the price, it's a place to stay near the beach that suited us just fine.
