The Annex - Beachside Retreat Steps to the Sand
Wake up to the sounds of the ocean from your beachside old ocean city bungalow. Completely renovated in 2025, this oceanside gem has a flair of old ocean city with modern amenities. Relax on the spacious front porch and spend your days walking back and forth to the beach or OC Convention Center without having to park. Enjoy one of Ocean City's quietest streets and beaches on 43rd. Usable outdoor space, full kitchen, reverse osmosis water, room for 6, and super fast wifi complete your stay :)
Upon arrival, you'll notice the large covered front porch (about 12' x 30') that is the perfect place to lounge, take a break from the sun, get some work done, eat a meal, or just relax.
Inside you'll find an oversized couch with pull-out queen sleeper sofa and a CanvasTV for all your streaming or movie watching time! The kitchen has a custom bench seat with all new appliances and custom finishes. To the right of the living area you'll find a little work nook with desk and a pop-up outlet for all your electronic charging. The two bedrooms on the right hand side have the main bathroom in-between. One king bedroom with closet, and one queen bedroom with clothes rack. Both bedrooms have smart tvs for streaming as well.
This is a ground-floor apartment and we live upstairs. We have a toddler and a couple big dogs, so it's not going to be perfectly quiet. We ask that you respect our house and quiet hours between 10pm - 7am. Having a couple drinks on the porch or inside is no big deal, but any parties that we can hear from upstairs will not be tolerated :)
Front porch, front grass area, and the apartment are for guests. There are (2) locked doors in the unit that are not for guests access. One is by the front door (cleaning / mechanical closet) and the other is storage for us. Occasionally you may hear us in the storage room, since there is private access from the outside.
We have a small security camera on the corner of the house that helps us monitor the security of the space. Some people are a little confused when they see a camera upon arrival so we just wanted to let everyone know.
There is one parking space included for compact vehicles only (in driveway around back) and also for loading/unloading purposes. There is free street parking up and down 43rd, 42nd, and 44th if you have a larger vehicle or multiple vehicles.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and other attractions close walking distance from the unit and the beach is about as close as it gets :)

- We will provide a full list of what we provide vs what you should bring a week out from your reservation!
- Due to the demand for our properties, we are not able to accommodate any late checkouts or early checkins. Sorry!
- If there are any concerns or items that need extra cleaning we require that you let us know by 3:15pm so that we can get our cleaners back there to address it.
- Please make sure you read over the cancelation policy thoroughly.
- We welcome and love hosting families with children, but our unit does not have some of the special features and items that are "suitable for children". We encourage all families to bring whatever items you need to make your stay more comfortable with little ones.
- We are very available and live on property so we are able to help with any issues that may arise, but we also use some auto-messaging to help get you ready for your trip with all the important information.
