Great ocean views available in this lovingly decorated semi-oceanfront cottage located only 200 ft. from the beach access. Sip your morning coffee on the covered deck or open deck overlooking the ocean. Enjoy a swim in the private pool, (which has recently been converted to saltwater)or relax in the hot tub at the end of a busy vacation day. This cottage offers three bedrooms and a loft area with a pull-out sleep sofa. TVs are available in all bedrooms, the great room, and the loft area. You don't want to miss the opportunity to vacation in this charming oceanside cottage.

Beautiful Cottage

This place was the best!!! It was perfect for our family and the ease of access to the beach was a HUGE bonus! The house was clean and well decorated! The selection of books and DVDs were great too. We loved sitting on the deck and the deck off the master. There were also plenty of chairs for everyone in our family to borrow for the beach along with sand toys and pool toys! We will definitely stay here again!!

Sunrise Cottage in Kitty Hawk N.C.

Everything about this cottage is first rate . The pool and hot tub only added to the satisfaction of the property. The view from the balconies every morning and evening were amazing. The house itself was well decorated to enhance the beach experience. We all had a great time again this year.

Great Beach Week!

The location was perfect! We could walk right over to the beach, and not worry about the 4 lane highway. The home was more than enough room for our family. There were 4 adults and 2 children for reference. The pool was awesome for the afternoons! We did less mini golf this year because the kids wanted to swim instead. Huge win!!

Great Second Stay!

This was our second stat at Sonrise, and it was just as amazing as the first! The view can’t be beat! The home was perfect for our family of 4 and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was great after a morning spent on the beach. The decking has been redone since our first stay, and we loved eating lunch and dinner with an ocean view…much better than you can find at most restaurants! My wife has been vacationing at the outer banks since the 1980s, and she said this home reminds her of those simpler trips with her family, and we are now making those same memories with our girls. We 100% recommend Sonrise!

Perfect beach house

We had a great time staying at the Sunrise. Plenty of space, nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed for the beach...even beach chairs and toys! Beach was right there and there was a lot to do in the area around the house! Owners were friendly and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy our vacation...thanks again for a great stay.

The place was just like the pictures & clean. A quick walk & you’re at the beach. The pool was a big hit of our stay & it was great! We had one small weather related issue & Susan was easy to reach & quick to respond. Wonderful stay!

This ocean view home had everything you need for a relaxing stay in OBX. Susan, the homeowner was very responsive to any questions prior to our stay. We had a beautiful week at the beach and would enjoy the pool every evening.

I brought my mom who is 73 here for her fist visit to the OBX. We had the best time! The view was beautiful. The place was spotless clean. The pool was amazing!! Everything was exactly as we needed it to be for a flawless vacation!! Definitely plan on staying here again!

This property was perfect for our family. Great location right across the street from the beach, the pool was fantastic, and we were close to shopping and restaurants. Susan, the property manager, was wonderful to work with and always got back to me quickly. Great place to stay. We look forward to staying again next year!

Great week at Sonrise !

We were very pleased with everything at the house .The house was perfect for our needs. Pool and hot tub added to a great week at the beach. Location was excellent and hearing the waves from the ocean crash in the evenings from the balconies was an experience. All in all we had a wonderful time ! Looking forward to next time !

Lovely place to relax

This was our second year staying here. For our family it is the perfect size and location. We like a quiet low key beach stay and this delivers. Easy check in and out. If there is ever a issue Susan replies promptly. We will be returning next year!

Perfect family vacation

My family and I had an amazing OBX vacation at this home. Susan was super easy to work with and so friendly. The property location was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the beach and local stores just down the road. The children enjoyed time on the beach and then hours of fun in the pool. We were thrilled with how easy check in/out was. Would definitely recommend this property!!
