I’d give this property a 3.5/5.The condo itself is nicely updated, and having a washer in the unit was incredibly convenient. The hosts also provided beach towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is great, It’s within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Having a free parking space in the garage was another big plus.Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the building’s entrance. The only access is through an alley off Prince Edward Street. As a group of eight women, we often felt uncomfortable walking through the alley because there were frequently homeless individuals and people who appeared to be under the influence. Since we explored Waikiki mostly on foot, we had to use the alley multiple times each day, which took away from our overall experience. The building itself is older and requires a key fob to enter the building and operate the elevator. With only two key fobs provided for our group of eight, it became inconvenient since we weren’t always going to the same places at the same time.Would we stay here again? Probably not. While the condo itself was nice and the location was convenient, we didn’t feel comfortable with the building access. That said, other travelers may feel differently depending on their group and comfort level.
