Notre maison en bois rond de luxe idéalement située au Double JJ Ranch & Resort a quelque chose pour tout le monde, quelle que soit la saison.

Le plus grand atout de cette maison est son emplacement.

Le Back Forty lui-mĂȘme propose une tonne d'activitĂ©s littĂ©ralement Ă  notre porte arriĂšre. Le Double JJ Resort propose un parcours de golf de championnat, un parc aquatique couvert, de nombreuses activitĂ©s liĂ©es aux chevaux et d'excellents restaurants.

De plus, nous sommes à une courte distance en voiture de Michigan Adventure, des dunes de sable du lac Silver, du lac Michigan et de la ville de Pentwater, récemment classée plage n ° 1 des Michigans.

Beautiful cabin, perfect for our needs. A little difficult to find on GPS, and minor misinformation with how to access the property- but received immediate assistance from host that solved the issues. Would have liked to have our own fire pit, but that also was just a minor thing. Biggest issue - we had 7 adults and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we obviously had to go purchase that - again, not a major concern. Everything else was fantastic!

The cabin was very nicely furnished and we had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. We were there for a family reunion of over 100 individuals and I got to visit many of the cabins and I would say that ours was the nicest.

Great place and location. Nice cabin with a fun loft for the kids. Only thing missing is a personal firepit. There is one there but it is small and shared with the other cabins, which was not an issue for us but if it was busier it could have been.

Nice Family Getaway

Cabin was in an excellent location on the edge of Double JJ - we could walk to the outdoor waterpark and the horses. The indoor water park and main building are just a short drive away.Pros: Quiet - we were impressed with the fact that once you came in and shut the door you didn't hear anything outside.CleanExcellent stocked kitchenAccurately picturedCons: The king bed is super comfortable. The spare bed and twin beds upstairs are very uncomfortable. We were so glad we brought sleeping bags because laying them on top of the mattresses helped a lot. There were no washcloths at all - not even in the kitchen and two handtowels in the whole house.No outside trash receptacle - and they don't pick up trash on the weekends - so people left trash outside by a very small trash can and animals got into it. If you stay more than one night though you have no where to put trash.Overall we would stay again - it was a great time...but it would help if those few things were fixed.

Great place for the family!

The resort was amazing, lots to do! Very homey feel with space for the kids, right next to the basketball court, outdoor waterpark, kids play area, just so much. Everything you need to make a homemade meal. We will be back!

Great weekend

A very nice cabin licatwd in a perfect area. It was a 5 min ride to Lewis adventure zoo/park and a few min to the main lodge. The playgroud behind the cabin was bwry nice. If you plan o. Cookng often bri g extra frying pans for convenience. Thank you for a wonderful weekend experience

It wasn't what we thought it was going to be.

There were a few things that we had issues with. I had contacted the owner about it. I received a response from her appreciating me letting her know. But didn't get anything more from her after I asked when the unsecured step and the beeping smoke alarm that was in the locked basement could be fixed. I really thought an apology would have been nice at least.

Weekend at the waterpark

Nice place to stay for the weekend with two families of four. As noted, the water has a strong sulfur smell, which was ok for us. But, it would have been nice to have a Brita pitcher or some other filter for drinking water. We brought bottled water, which worked, but not as eco-friendly. Waterpark is a 5 min drive from the cabin- not a walk. It is 2.5 miles one way. Cabin is situated in a campground, but off to one side where are are other cabins. Couple of notes: Cabin sits next to a tennis/basketball court that has a bright light that shines in the back windows all night. Black out curtains in the bedrooms would certainly help. Second bedroom with a double bed is ok/ but pretty rough mattress and bed springs. The kitchen is well stocked, with the exception of only having one pan for frying that was large enough/not rusted. Plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware and cooking utensils.

Short stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay, well water smells horrible, but it works. My mom wanted a fly swatter but none was found and the clicker to TV need replaced, but all in all I'm perfectly happy with the booking.

Family getaway

This cabin was perfect for our family’s getaway. It was clean, spacious and close to the pool and playground. The amenities were perfect and our children loved the loft area! We will definitely be staying here in the future!

Perfect size for what we needed. The community setup was not what we expected but worked out. The cable/satellite was non existent. Plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. We would go back.

The stay was amazing. Owner really nice. The only issue with check in was I did not get last msg because I was in route and had no connection/internet. The loft upstairs is amazing. Please run the water first. It is well water.

It was okay.

We came in right after the ssnow storm. So there was snow on the ground. There was no path way leading up to the property which was a little frustrating. Be sure to check messages about check in information VRBO information is different that owner information which thus made it a slight issue. Once we got In it looks fine. Upon closer look it appears it's not upkept as nice as it seemed. Several bulbs were blown out. Dusty and had cobwebs. Extremely hard water. 3 nights with 6 people and we didn't have nearly enough bathroom linens. Kitchen had all the basics expect a washcloth or sponge to do dishes Had access to a Broom but no dust pan. Internet connection is very poor to point of unable. Would not have been able to enjoy TV had we not had our hotspot Smoke decectors needed batteries changed and some were missing. We did enjoy the accept to the back forty Zipline and play ground. We enjoyed having snow on the ground since we don't get nearly enough were we came from. Loved having access to double jj resort being just up the road. Would have been amazing had it not been for the minor inconveniences.

Cute cabin terrible water

While the cabin was quaint and cozy I would not stay here again. The space was very nice. Plenty of room for the 6 adults that stayed. However, my two knocks on the property are that the water smelled like sulfur to the point of gagging while brushing my teeth and you could hear every little movement in the entire cabin. I’m so glad we left the kids with Grandma or no one would have been able to sleep in the cabin. I hope the water smell of the water was just from not running the water as much in the “off” season. It was very off putting. Had we known we would have packed extra water but there was nothing written about this anywhere. Even just a heads up that “we’re on a well that has an odor” would have been better. All in all it was a successful trip but we will stay else where in the future.
