Une retraite de campagne à Clear Creek Cabins (Cabine dans la prairie) près d'Asheville

Notre cabine se trouve près d'Asheville, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure et Historic Hendersonville au milieu des nombreuses zones de randonnée de Hickory Nut Gorge. Situé au pied de la montagne Bearwallow, notre propriété est partiellement boisée avec un sentier de randonnée, un étang et un hangar de pique-nique à côté de l'étang avec un foyer. La pêche est disponible à la fois dans notre étang et dans les eaux de ruisseau Clear Creek - state qui relient notre propriété.

Le porche couvert comporte des chaises à bascule et un bain à remous. La cabine dispose d'une cheminée à gaz, climatisation, TV avec satellite et lecteur DVD, wifi, micro-ondes, grille-pain, mixeur et cafetière. Des draps, des plats et des ustensiles de cuisine sont fournis. La cabine dispose d'un barbecue à gaz.

Alors que de nombreux invités se détendent simplement sur la propriété pour tout leur séjour, il y a beaucoup à faire dans la région - randonnée pédestre Chimney Rock Park, une visite en bateau du lac Lure, une visite à Historic Hendersonville, à manger dans les nombreux restaurants de grande région juste un court-circuit Chassez-vous, visitez les nombreux parcs et forêts de l'état environnant et des forêts (Chimney Rock, Dupont, Pisgah, Blueway Parkway) et, bien sûr, visitez le célèbre Biltmore Estate. L'équitation est disponible dans la région, ainsi que des visites guidées de zones de pommes avec de nombreux stands de fruits à choisir et à proximité des vignobles à visiter.

La propriété est magnifique en toutes saisons: les arbres à fleurs printanières, le feuillage d'été, les couleurs d'automne et les vues d'hiver avec éventuellement de la neige. L'hiver, lorsque les feuilles sont hors des arbres, peuvent être particulièrement intéressantes en raison des vues supplémentaires qui apparaissent dans les arbres nu.

Great location

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Cabin. Really like the location as it was easy to get to a lot of great hiking and wonderful wineries. The cabin is comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub and deck.

Perfect Little Getaway!

Exactly as described in the listing, a peaceful rural property. Kaye was a very responsive host, and the cabin was super clean and stocked with everything I needed. I loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and walking to the nearby pond to sit for a while and enjoy the quiet. I will definitely recommend these cabins to family and friends!

Peaceful and relaxing

This was a quick decompressing trip for me and my husband. The booking and check in process was exceptionally smooth. This was a last minute booking. The cabin was extremely clean and very well stocked. The owners were in contact via text message and provided a wealth of information on the cabin and area. The private hit tub was icing on the cake. I got much need rest, because it was so relaxing and peaceful.

Stayed here for a "mini honeymoon" The cabin was immaculate, owner was helpful with suggestions. My major complaint is that the couch was terrible. It was hard to sit and enjoy the fireplace or a movie on TV because it was very uncomfortable and terribly noisy so we didn't stay at the cabin that much. We really enjoyed Hendersonville and Chimney Rock.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay at our cabin – thanks for the great review you left in our on-site guest book: “We stayed here for our “mini honeymoon”. We very much enjoyed our time here. The cabin was great, hot tub wonderful. We explored Hendersonville, Asheville, Chimney Rock, & Lake Lure. Some of the very best food and drinks we have ever had anywhere in the country. . . Enjoyed Hendersonville downtown very much.” Plus a list of six area restaurants you highly recommended. I was surprised to hear that the sofa was noisy since I had just been sitting on it earlier in the day that you checked in and did not notice a noise. However, when I checked it after you left your review I did notice that it was making a little noise when I sat on it. It’s a sofabed, so I opened it up and put some oil on each of the hinges of the frame. Then I couldn’t hear the little noise any more. It took us about 5 minutes to fix it and no more noise! When I personally checked you in at the cabin I told you to call or text if you had any questions or needed help with anything. And I mentioned that we were staying elsewhere on our 20 acre property so were close by if you needed anything. And yet, I heard nothing about this problem until days after you had left. It’s very sad that you had such an unsatisfactory experience with the little noise made by the couch for the 4 days of your stay, but did not undertake the minor effort to let us know so that we could resolve it. I’m also sorry that you saw fit to give us only 3 stars. 100% of our previous reviews for our Cabin in the Meadow are five star. In light of the great review from you in our on-site guest book and your complaint here about something so minor that you didn’t even feel the need to ask us to fix it while you were there, this is really mystifying. It’s too bad because you were otherwise great guests. You may want to give more thought to your star ratings and communications with owners on future trips. Many of us do read a prospective guest’s previous reviews as we decide whether to accept your reservation.

The experience was perfect, exceeded expectations!! We were notified well ahead of time of a malfunction with the oven which allowed us to prepare accordingly, not a problem at all. Loved the hot tub!! Overall, very accommodating...wish we could have stayed longer. A short drive to Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, Asheville, etc. Lot's of fine dining and other activities in and around the area. Would highly recommend to any one looking for a somewhat secluded getaway. Would definetly book a stay there again!!

Weekend Get Away

A pretty little cabin that was clean and well maintained. Ms Kaye even had many little extras to add to the experience (robes, disposable slippers, kitchen and cooking supplies). So peaceful! We enjoyed listening to the birds chirping and doing absolutely nothing. While there was a TV, we didn’t watch it and didn’t miss it. Would love to return some day! Highly recommend this little Cabin In The Meadiw!

Amazing Cabin Experience

Our experience at the cabin was amazing. Kaye truly went above and beyond. The property is gorgeous and the cabin was very clean and comfortable inside. Kaye makes sure to have detailed instructions on everything needed to maintain the cabinbduring your stay, including how to work the hottub. She also had details sbout things to do in the area. My experience was the best that ive had in a long time. I highly recommend this property and felt like i was treated with great care.

Everything was wonderful! Extremely clean, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Had a wonderful time fishing at the pond, relaxing in the hot tub , meeting and talking with owners for a while, and even enjoyed hanging out with some of the other cabin guest. Amazing stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The hot tub was incredible and located on the back porch, surrounded by trees and blocked by a privacy wall. The cabin was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kaye also provided robes and slippers to lounge around in. She was very responsive and willing to talk if we needed anything. You may lose service on your way here (especially coming from Asheville) so make sure you already have the address in your gps. We did rely on the paper map once or twice…which was fine but just a heads up. We did walk to the pond and it was quiet and peaceful. We had a rainy visit so on Saturday, we mostly lounged around and played board games on the porch (it was magical, honestly). It gave us a chance to slow down and rest. I’ve already been trying to find a weekend to come back in the Fall so we can take advantage of the fireplace. Oh and she provided a list of restaurants near.. we went to postero for my birthday dinner on Friday (we made reservations cause it was packed) and it was SO GOOD! I highly recommend this place.

Lovely one bedroom wood cottage in apple country NC. Comfortable queen size bed, kitchen with range/microwave fridge supplied with all necessary amenities. The cabin is hosted by Kaye, the owner, who has lived in the area for more than twenty years. We provide the guest with information about local restaurants, hiking areas, local wineries, your cabin's amenities, and more (nearest grocery, scenic drives, etc). David is our expert on local farm products, curly willow wreaths, and fishing (and he grills up a great BBQ!). He has lived here for his entire life!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our 20-acre partially wooded rural property is in an agricultural area amongst primarily apple orchards, a few peach orchards, and, increasingly, vineyards. We are centrally located East of historic Hendersonville, SouthEast of Asheville, and West of the Bat Cave/Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area (currently undergoing restoration). We are at the foot of Bearwallow Mountain which has hiking paths at the top. The property is partially wooded with a private hiking trail through the woods, a pond, and a picnic shed next to the pond with a fire pit. In back of the wooded portion of our property is a wooded area that extends for miles, adding to the serenity of our property. Fishing is available both in our pond and at Clear Creek – state trout waters that adjoin our property. We are surrounded by various types of recreational activities in our county and adjacent counties.
