Discover the beauty of Kitty Hawk's beaches from this delightful 1-bedroom first-floor apartment with 1 small parking space (no large trucks or vans). The newly constructed, cozy space features a comfortable queen bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like modern furnishings, WiFi, AC, a fully-stocked kitchen and bathroom, shared heated pool May through September, outdoor firepit/grill, beautiful landscaping, extra outdoor shower, and amenities galore. The bathroom includes a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Bikes, beach chairs, and beach umbrella available for use. 1.5 miles from the beach--a 5-minute drive or 10-minute bike ride. Close to restaurants and shopping. Maximum 2 guests. No third-party bookings. No parties. Guests must be 25+. No third-party bookings allowed. No parties. No diving and no glass in the pool area. Pool loungers and beach chairs are for use by only one person at a time or they will break!

Main house is occupied and includes two dogs, who may bark when people arrive or leave (dog bones provided to guests so they can make friends with the locals!).

We met the host as we arrived and she was very nice and accommodating. The place had everything possible that we needed or wanted. It was private and fairly quiet. Had a nice resident cat that soothed the missing of our cats. Nice, private pool. About a 5 minute drive from the beach and all the local restaurants

What a beautiful place and property, designed and decorated with the eye of an artist. The apartment itself was so well equipped that we needed absolutely nothing and will pack much lighter next time! The recommendations listed in the guide were so helpful to narrow down food choices.The beach was incredibly close and we had no trouble finding parking…the only struggle was leaving the beautiful pool for it!Kira and Marin are a bonus and the sweetest, sweetest puppies.We will be back!

This was a wonderful, peaceful, and clean place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and the short drive to the beach, restaurants, and other amenities. It was great weekend! Nice clean place very cute and home like! I wasn’t completely aware the residents stayed up there until arriving but it was all good they were very sweet! The heated pool didn’t work well when we were there though.

This property is amazing. The apartment by itself, is a whole vibe. The owner thought of every single detail and it really does make one feel welcomed. Everything was clean and cozy. We had the best stay. An adorable well thought out place. The pool was so nice There was a really cool outdoor shower with hot water as well as cold. Centrally located ...it was gtreat!! The use of the yard and its amenities was a plus...bbq, fire pit and a well planned garden . It was bee friendly and eucalyptus!! Very soothing.

We did not use pool. All very nice, clean and comfortable. It was a great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Host was great, helpful in every way. The bed was comfortable and we liked having a kitchen. All was awesome and this would be a great place to get away. The OBX is a great place with lots of history and plenty to do. The apartment was in a great location that was easy assess to all the things we planned on. Wonderful.

It was all excellent. Loren the host was the best. She made sure all was good. When we texted her she responded in a very short time. One time she came down from Hera house and wanted to be sure all was good. The door lock needed a new battery and she had it replaced in a moment. She was a great host making our stay the best. We are glad we stayed here for a week and enjoyed our home away from home.

Anniversary weekend

Such great attention to detail!! One of our best VRBO stays that had items as described and unexpected little things. We will be back!! Host is awesome with quick responses and face to face interactions at times when seeing her. Quiet neighborhood and as for us beach front isn’t a must but the quiet peaceful time is!!

Lorna was an excellent host! She really made our honeymoon stay extra special! The place was the perfect size for my wife and I and was very cozy.
