Parfait Oceanfront Cottage avec piscine privée: Sea Glass

Sea Glass est le chalet parfaite escapade sur la plage avec une vue à couper le souffle de l'Atlantique à partir de toutes les fenêtres, les terrasses et les balcons. Avec beaucoup de chambre à coucher, notre maison pittoresque dispose d'une piscine privée, d'une plage à l'extérieur / douche de la piscine privée, d'un accès Internet sans fil, trois salles de bain complètes, buanderie, et est livré avec des draps pour votre séjour.

Une grande surface de pont surplombe la piscine et l'océan avec rockers et de chaises pour vous de regarder les enfants sur la plage, le lever du soleil ou le coucher du soleil ou même les dauphins au jeu. Les deux chambres sont accessibles par le pont en bord de mer et de la Reine et superposés chambres ont chacune un balcon privé donnant sur l'océan sur les côtés de la maison. Un bien équipé, cuisine bien éclairée avec une grande table et de la zone arrière-grand-chambre est situé au centre et la suite de buanderie séparée est accessible par la douche extérieure et sous-accueil de l'aire protégée de stationnement.

Apportez Fido! Emerald Isle est une plage animaux de compagnie et de verre de mer permettra jusqu'à 2 chiens moyennant un supplément de 250 $ / chien pour la semaine.

My family had a wonderful week at Sea Glass. The location was amazing and sitting on the deck in rocking chairs taking in the ocean view and breeze was so relaxing.

The beach house, beach, and pool were amazing! This was a perfect experience for our family. There were numerous great restaurants close by. This was truly special for our family.

Family Getaway

This house was perfect for me and my family. The proximity to the beach made it easier to transport a baby and that goes along with that. We enjoyed the pool as a way to cool off from the heat without going on the beach.

Beautiful Home

My family and I stayed at this location and it was very beautiful. You can tell the owner has been investing money into the property. New decking, railing, and very clean. The only downside is that there was only 1 trash bin to utilize for the week, but that is only trying to find something for improvement. Highly recommend this location.

Best beach trip yet!

We loved our first trip to Emerald Isle, in large part thanks to Sea Glass! This beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations, from the stunning oceanfront views, to the short stroll to the beach. Sea Glass is well-appointed, clean, updated, and in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to everything. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing views and location!

Thank you so much for sharing this property with us. The 7 of us- 5 adults and 2 small children had a wonderful week there. The location of the house could not be more perfect. The view from the living room, deck, and bed rooms were perfect. Plenty of space foe us all to be together. The pool was wonderful and the kiddos loved it so much. The ease of getting back and forth to the beach was so nice with the small kids. Check in was simple and commutation with everyone was super easy! We will def be planning another trip here❤️

It’s all about the view.

First experience with VRBO and will not be our last. Great communication all around, from booking to property owner and property management. This home had something for all ages. Loved the deck, loved the pool and loved the view. Only drawback was the size of the showers in the attached bathrooms, which was solved by the ample outdoor shower, that my husband described as magical. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect Place

This place was the perfect size for our family of 6 adults. There was actually a 4th kids bedroom that we didn't use that accomodates 4 kids (bunks). This cottage is perfectly situated on the beach giving both sunrises and sunsets! The pool was a nice plus; although, we didn't use it as much as we thought we would. The location on Emerald Isle is also a nice plus as it is 2 miles from the Point. We could hop on our bikes or run there easily. I spent the entire week just wishing it were mine!

Great Location

Great location, wonderful large deck, nice private pool. House was not clean. Large crusts of bread fell off the dishwasher door when first open, broom with pile of dirt near door, cabinet interiors needed cleaning. Much of the pots and pans disorganized. Not one sheet of toilet paper upon arrival. So many beach tubes etc. in laundry room it had to be emptied to use the washing machine and dryer. Cockroaches in kitchen and bathrooms. The lockbox combination difficult to see and use. While the size and location of the home was great, sometimes it is the little...but very important....things that make the stay amazing as well.

Fantastic location

Seven adults found this cottage to be the perfect size and location for our family. We have been vacationing in Emerald Isle for years and this was one of our favorite rentals. We rarely left the very clean beautiful property, spending time on the beach, in the pool, and on the deck. It was a pleasant surprise to see how short the walk was to the almost private beach. The foot wash station was used multiple times a day and most of us used the outdoor shower every day. We never turned on the TV as we enjoyed the many board games and books you made available. Thank you for placing lights on the stairs and pool so we could move around safely after dark. We really appreciated the labels identifying light switches and kitchen items. The kitchen was stocked with every item we needed; the full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher worked well. The check-in and check-out procedures were efficient due to the excellent written instructions. We will definitely rent this unit again.

Family vacation 2023

First I would like to say the location and layout of this home was fabulous!! However the cleanliness left much to be desired. I am well aware this was a pet friendly rental but to find dog hair on bedside tables and comforters is ridiculous. The corners of all rooms had inch thick pet hair and dirt!! I had to clean all day on our first vacation day just to make myself feel better. I am not usually a negative person but I begged for a simple broom all week. After numerous text about housekeeping issues I did receive $200.00 back for MY housekeeping duties. But never saw a simple broom. We also had to shower outside before dark due to no outside lights on porch or shower area. The maintenance guy came out twice and tried to repair issues with no luck.

Great location and view but needs safety updates

The location is perfect! The pool and view were beautiful! There’s a few safety concerns: nails sticking up on the deck (we found a hammer to fix a few), poor lighting on back patio and pool- it would have been great to have lights so we could enjoy that area at night. The solar lights provided little light and we almost fell down the stairs outside because it was so dark. Only 2 smoke detectors with batteries in the home. Every room needs a smoke detector, especially in older homes. The doors to bedrooms were very difficult to open/close (made it difficult to leave the room while our toddler was sleeping). There was not a door handle on the master bedroom sliding door. The “high chair” is a small, tall chair with 1 strap around it and definitely not safe for a small child. The size of house, location and view were perfect but a few safety concerns.

Great location, mediocre house

The location of the property was really great. You are steps away from the beach and the fact that there was a pool was a major plus for our kids. Upon arrival though, we were shocked to find 2 large plastic bags filled with smaller plastic bags (is no one plastic conscious on the East Coast?) full of sheets and towels. I could not believe that after paying almost $6k on this rental for a week that the beds were not made and the towels not stacked. Not only that, but it did not even come with a solitary roll of toilet paper, paper towels or even a trash bag! I have paid far less for a VRBO and NEVER have I ever encountered this. This clearly was not a COVID issue, as the comforters and pillows were still left behind on the beds. The place was pretty clean, sans a few big bugs, but it's the beach, so it wasn't totally unsurprising. The property manager on the other hand was fantastic. We had a problem with the air conditioner the first night and he responded to my texts immediately and had a maintenance worker out the very next day. We still had a great time, despite the accommodations. So if you rent this place, make sure you bring EVERYTHING, and I do mean everything you may need, down to sponges for cleaning.

College friends getaway

The place was great. Close to stores and restaurants. The deck and view were incredible. The pool was a nice bonus. There was a little miscommunication with the cleaning company, wasn't cleaned when we got there, but reached out and they came right over. Spotless when they left. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Size of the house was perfect for my family. Enjoyed the pool and being oceanfront. For the cost of this home the owner should provide laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, trash bags, more toilet paper, and extra paper towels for their guests. For this property to be smoke-free upon arriving at the Sea Glass House we saw cigarette butts under the house and especially in the driveway. The wraparound porch was also a plus!!

Can't beat the location

You really can't beat the location of this home! This side of the island is more residential, which means the beach is not crowded! There is a playground within half a mile that my 2 year old niece really enjoyed. The grocery stores are about a mile or so away, super easy! The beach access and pool are amazing. Being able to see the ocean from the pool is a bonus for sure. Our family really enjoyed both! The home itself is older, but did what we needed. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler. Would more space be nice? Sure, but we didnt spend too much time inside. The home could use some updating, but nothing bothered us at all. And, my pup had a ball. Would I stay here again? Sure! You cannot beat the location and views!

This is our second oceanfront property and love our GEM of a cottage which is why we named it Sea Glass and decorated it like our own home with loving care. We've spent many weeks at EI over the last 25 years and love every minute of our time there---all year 'round---whenever we visit our second home and know you will too!

It's the perfect home for a family or two (or even three if you're not too big!) looking for a quaint beach getaway with the privacy of your own pool, the option of bringing your pet, and being ON the beach with all the amenities that Emerald Isle offers. Stroll the tideline at sunset or pedal your bike to the food-mart on the bike path for early morning groceries or coffee. Lounge poolside or oceanside all week long and take in the amazing sunrises and sunsets over the emerald Atlantic.

This is a unique GEM (just like finding some sea glass on the sand!) that has amazing views all the way around because it sits forward (on a 'piano key' lot) of the surrounding homes. With its private pool, this single-family home (though it is large enough for multiple families to stay!) is the perfect getaway location for a small or large group all year round. Situated at the end of Ocean Drive, Sea Glass is a private and quiet cottage in the Ocean Oaks neighborhood off Coast Guard road in a very desirable part of the island.
