We traveled to the Charlotte/Pineville area so that our son could work with the pitching performance coaches at nearby Tread Athletics.The home was clean, but unfortunately it was not comfortable. The a/c system could not cool the house during the day. It only reached the set point during the overnight hours. Upon our arrival the host initially communicated that the home just needed a couple of hours to cool down, but when it hadn’t cooled off after over 4 hours they then said that the unit had been serviced 3 weeks prior due to not being able to cool the house. We traveled from out of state and at that point we had very few options even though the host aggressively offered for us to cancel the reservation we had no where else to go for the week at the last minute.The bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. I blame myself for not intuitively knowing that townhomes bedrooms are all upstairs, but I am glad no one in my family had mobility concerns. As for comfort, the beds are too soft and the sofa and chairs in the living room are too hard. The home is clean but not maintained. Besides the a/c there are several minor problems that need to be addressed. Overall the stay was just ok. We would only rent again during the cooler months of the year.
