Charming Berkshires Retreat – Minutes to Williamstown

Beautifully renovated home on a former farm with the Green River running through the backyard. Between Williamstown & New Ashford, this is the perfect home base to explore central & north Berkshires.
Convenient to arts, theatre, restaurants & shopping in Williamstown and to hiking, skiing, zipline, boating, fishing.
Relax on the deck or down by the river, or around the fire pit, in between outings. Enjoy cooking in an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen.

Everything you need for a memorable stay!

The interior of the house is attractively decorated, has beautiful hardwood floors and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with lots of counterspace.

The downstairs has a family room with TV, large open kitchen with dining table (will accommodate 8), 1 king sized bedroom (with TV), 1 queen sized bedroom, an updated full bathroom with tub and shower, a workspace with desk and computer monitor, and a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.

Glass doors open from family room to large deck overlooking the backyard, perfect for al fresco dining.

Upstairs is a bedroom with (2) single beds, a smaller family room with TV, and an open loft area perfect for relaxing – or for setting up an air mattress.

There is a large, level backyard. The back deck is set up for relaxing and for al fresco dining.

Note: This home is a year-round, short-term rental property, infrequently used by the owners. It has been thoughtfully supplied with things you might like to have on your vacation and not cluttered with owners' possessions.

The entire house is yours to enjoy (except the basement and the barn that are reserved for the owners.)
This is a single-family home; no one else is living at the property.
The entire driveway is for your use.
You have private use of the front porch, back deck, front, rear and side yards.
The owners of this home stay at it infrequently and keep very few personal items at the property, so the interior and closets are not cluttered with owners' possessions.
Owners provide all snow removal and landscaping maintenance year-round.

We are a professional property management company with team members available to assist you throughout your stay. You can easily message us through your booking platform. Those messages are monitored 7 am to 8 pm seven (7) days a week. We will provide you with a number to call or text for emergencies outside these hours.

You will receive automated emails with useful information throughout your stay, as well as customized messages about things related to you.

We provide contactless check-in. We will send you the door code exclusively for your stay a couple of days before you arrive.

By request we can provide things such as portable playpen, high chair, portable crib, air mattress or dog crate for you prior to your arrival.

And if you think of things you’d like to have after you arrive, just reach out.

We want to ensure you have a 5-star stay. Please let us know how we can assist with this.

LOCATION
This is beautiful home is well located for exploring north Berkshires and central Berkshires (e.g., Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge), and for day trips to nearby Vermont.

From Roaring Brook Road, almost directly across the street, you can get on trails, including direct access to Mount Greylock.

Williamstown is only 10 minutes north, with its excellent restaurants and shopping, and of course the The Clark, famous art museum and Williamstown Theatre Festival.

MAX. NO OF GUESTS
This home can accommodate 8 people, 6 people in the 4 beds in the bedrooms, and 2 people on an air mattress that we can provide upon request.

PETS
Small dog(s) may be allowed with owner approval. Reach out with info about your dog(s) prior to booking, please. A $65 fee per dog will be due at the time of booking, after the dog(s) have been approved.

PARKING
Parking is off street in a private driveway.

EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE
We have a portable crib, high chair, booster seat, dog crate and air mattresses. Please request in advance if you need any of these.

MIN NO OF NIGHTS
If you’d like to book for fewer nights than the minimum on the platform, please message us to request owner approval.

FUTURE BOOKINGS
If you’d like to book further out than 6 months, on dates when the calendar has not been opened yet, please message us for owner approval.

LONG-TERM BOOKINGS
This property can be reserved for long-term bookings. Please reach out if you are interested in a long-term stay and we will provide the discounted rates if the property is available.

KITCHEN
We want our guests to easily enjoy preparing meals at home. Therefore, our homes have uncommonly well-stocked kitchens. Not just the things you’d expect like microwave, dishwasher, and basic dishes, but plenty of dishes, drinking glasses, flatware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, and other tools and small appliances.

CLEANING
All of the properties we manage are impeccably clean. This house is cleaned with green products.

GRILL
This house has a gas grill.

LAUNDRY
There is a washer and dryer for your use. Detergents and supplies are provided.

BASIC RULES:

She brings her keen eye for detail to every property we manage and enjoys providing comfortable places for people to stay while they are spending time in the area.
Our team takes great pride in caring for the properties we manage and in attending to details, so our guests thoroughly enjoy their vacations at the properties we represent.

We have earned Guest Favorite status on some of our properties. This house is new to short-term rentals as of May 2025 and we expect it to be very popular with and well-rated by guests!

Weekend Stop Before Camp

This was the perfect little spot for our family to stop and stay on our way to dropping our daughter at camp and enjoy Williamstown. Our hike at the Clark Institute was a highlight along with the proximity to downtown’s great restaurants.We were talking about how gorgeous it must be in the fall
 when it must be even more scenic and amazing.
