Perfect condo!

This condo was perfect. Beautiful views! Very close to Saline pools. Very walkable to beach across the street that was a fantastic swimming beach filled with turtles! 2 weeks was just not long enough! We'll be back to #206 very soon! We will return! Aloha!

The only negative for my wife with bad knees was the 2nd floor location and lack of a functioning elevator.

Although these condos are older, they are in good condition and the grounds are always very well kept. Property staff are friendly and helpful. Can't beat this location, across the street from Kam3 beach, and we enjoyed watching the sunset every night from our lanai!

5 Star Condo in Kehei

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at many 1 bedroom condos in the Hale Kamaole complex. This has now become our favorite condo. The view from the lanai encompasses the mountain on the left and the famous Kam 3 beach to the right so you have the wonderful sunrise and sunsets to admire. Not all the units have this wonderful view. The renovation was thoughtfully done by increasing the kitchen size and it has an incredible amount of counter space. The living area is tastefully decorated, the large couch comfortable and they even put the mini split A/C in the middle of the room instead of on the lanai end wall which was brilliant! If you are looking for a rental that has it all this is the one. We will definitely be back!!

Some Good and some not so good

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartment has been tastefully updated and is in a great location with views of the ocean and the mountains. Some of the furniture has been updated and some has not. 3 of the 4 dining chairs were either torn or showing wear and the windows and shower door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It would have been helpful to have had instruction sheets on how things work like the lights, fan and tvs.. With some tlc this unit would be premium. In spite of these details we had a lovely vacation again, for the 20+th year at Hale Kamaole.

Unit 206 is nicely renovated with attractive and comfortable furniture, and modern appliances. The beach gear in the closet was appreciated. The unit was clean and tidy for our arrival, and the office staff were helpful with a couple of requests we had. Our restaurant finds this trip were Fred’s Mexican for Taco Tuesday...go early, 4:00. And we liked Nalu’s for dinner. Our favourite activity was doing the seashore walk south through the bird sanctuary and on to the beaches and walkways in Wailea.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo, great location, everything you would need inside the condo from beach necessities to condiments in the kitchen! The only downside of our stay was the road construction on south Kihei road and the fact that our entrance to Hale Kamaole was blocked off because of some work being done to the water pipes. This made it pretty difficult to enter and leave the condos by car and walking. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and will be returning again!

Everything you need to enjoy a quintessential Hawaiian vacation is walking distance or 5-8mins by car. The condos are lovely some more updated than others and I always suggest renting your own beach chairs and umbrellas as I’m yet to stay in a condo with not broken or really worn out items. Lovely place can’t recommend it enough!

Perfect location

This is our second time staying at Hale Kamaole, and first time in #206. The unit was great, and has everything you need. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach where you can swim all day next to the turtles! It’s always very relaxing at this property. We will be back soon.
