Cottage 2bd récemment rénové

Magnifiquement rĂ©novĂ© 2 lits. 1 bain. chalet. Juste une courte promenade (5-7min) Ă  la rive du lac Michigan. Plage d'association privĂ©e. Notre endroit a tout ce dont vous auriez besoin pour un excellent sĂ©jour. Nombreux restaurants aux alentours (distance en voiture ou petite balade Ă  vĂ©lo). Nous sommes juste un pĂątĂ© de maisons de Blue Plate Cafe (servant le petit dĂ©jeuner et le dĂ©jeuner). Fermes pour la cueillette de pĂȘches, cerises, pommes et mĂ»res fraĂźches. Beaucoup de choses Ă  faire en plus de simplement se dĂ©tendre sur la plage.

Great location and beach access!

The house had everything we needed, was comfortable, and easy access to surrounding towns, beach state park and more. Great yard to hang out and build a fire. Albert was quick to reply and very flexible with in/out times. We’d stay again!

Family Summer Getaway

Our family of four loved this hidden gem. The house was the perfect size and very clean. We loved how easy it was to access the private beach. Albert was extremely helpful answering our questions. We’re already planning to come back next year.

Visit to Union Pier

Surprised that we were expected to bring our own beach towels (finding out upon arrival is not cool) absolutely responsive to storm related internet outage. easy lovely place. Nice people (owners not a management company). would welcome using it again if I were ever to return.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We stayed at this property for a little beach getaway. The property was as described just the right size for our family of 4. The best part was definitely the private beach access. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded. Even on the chillier days my kids enjoyed wading in the water and looking for rocks. From the duplex, it is a short 5 minute walk to the beach!

Wish we could have stayed longer

Our family of 4 needed a quick getaway after a busy season of life. This cottage was just what we needed. The beach is a quick walk and wasn’t too crowded. Groceries and restaurants were also close. The owner was very responsive. I hope to get back there soon!

3rd time back

Third time staying here for a girl's weekend, and it was just as great as before. Easy walk to the beach down the street, and centrally located to so many attractions a few minutes' drive away. This cottage is so well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and outdoor space. Inside space has all we needed. Thanks for another great stay!

Summer stay

Enjoyed the stay at this very comfortable house. Everything was well thought out and the place is perfect for "falling off the grid" for a week! (Yes, there is still extremely fast WIFI internet for those who need to be "connected) :-) Beautiful, sandy beach is literally just a five minute walk, door to gate. Cheers.

Good place

Water / beach was great. Bring a wagon for your kids/gear and a short walk is a breeze. Eat breakfast ever morning at oaks eatery in three oaks, best breakfast ever. House seemed clean and we loved the washer dryer. but bring a fire stick, the Roku device is very slow. Good vaca spot for kids and on a budget.

A lovely beachy weekend

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend of relaxation, beach time, and a bit of work. Albert is a wonderful host, and the unit was so well stocked with all we needed. Renovated kitchen and bathroom are especially lovely, as is the great backyard area which was perfect for breakfast and relaxing after dinner. Beach was about a 10 min walk away, and unit is a short drive to all nearby attractions, restaurants, etc. We'll be back but not soon enough!

Cute place

The place was really cute. We had some issues once with the Internet but Albert responded quickly. The only thing that I was not prepared for is the 3 flights of stairs to get to the beach. Getting my wagon and cooler up and down there was not fun. Other than that we had a great time!

Nice location for a long weekend

Clean updated house. The outdoor space could use some sprucing up. The chairs and hammock were pretty dirty. The house is actually divided into 2 units, but only one side is rented out. It doesnt say this in the description so it took a bot to figure out the entry situation. The private beach was great, but there is no parking, so pack light. Overall, it was a nice, quiet weekend and the owner responded quickly to my questions

The more you know


I didn’t realize until after I had booked the property and read deep into the reviews that this is actually a duplex and you will share the yard & property with the owners. It was clean for the most part - extra care could have been taken to get more spiders out & the grill wasn’t cleaned out for us to use, so we didn’t. The walk to the beach was a bit farther than I expected, as well as several stairs, so be aware of that as well. When we stayed over July 4th, many of the neighborhood people who share the beach would leave their chairs & “mark their spots” on the beach. It’s not the biggest beach, so this was a bit of annoyance - I grew up on Lake Michigan & have gone there every summer & this is the first time I experienced that. Also, plan on spending an extra night’s worth on fees & being forced into insurance. After all that is said - it was a nice enough getaway for my daughter & me to stay pretty close to Lake Michigan.

Great Beach Escape

Trip to the beach was a very short walk, and a association beach access was great. Not too crowded The house had everything we needed, and having on-site access to a washer and dryer was a HUGE plus.

Beach Oasis

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the cute neighborhood. Quick walk to the beach, so we went there every day! Great place for kids and adults. It was also really nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Excellent outdoor space for grilling and hanging out. Lovely garden on the grounds. Hope to stay there again next year!
