Best part is location and patio for eating outside. Plenty of dishes, but no good cutting board or measuring tools. Fans help for warm days. Lower bedroom does not have blackout curtains, which would be nice for kids using that room with late sunsets and early sunrises. Nice stay.
Five star location and house. Everything in town was within walking distance and drives to enter Rocky Mountain. National Park are very close. Outside deck was wonderful. Downstairs yard needs weed wacking. Extra beds are a bit uncomfortable. The only negative was that the air conditioner needs updating, it could not keep up with the outside temperature. In the evening it was below 70 outside and 80 inside. We couldnât keep the windows open because there were some nearby fires, causing a lot of pollution.
This property is right in downtown Estes Park, with restaurants and shops within walkable distance. It has been thoughtfully remodeled and is very clean! We used the grill to make our own meals and had just what we needed and enjoyed the space. The beds in the downstairs bedroom are just ok, but served their purpose after long hiking days! Overall, great place that I would definitely recommend!
Nice property near downtown Estes Park (5 minute walk). 15 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Check-in and check-out process was easy.
House was very clean.
Bed in main bedroom wasn't that comfortable for us because it was hard.
Otherwise, nice home.
Nice, updated, house, Close to town.
Parking was a problem. Our pickup wouldn't fit in the garage and we had yo park it at an angle in the driveway to keep it off the street.
Great location, slightly away from the congestion but within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Smooth check in/check out. Would definitely stay there again.
Overall the home was clean and well suited as a home base / place to sleep for our family of four.
Before renting be aware there is no air conditioning. It does not explicitly call this out in the description. Opening the windows and using fans makes this manageable, but the road construction ~100ft down the street made that a problem. Jackhammers and concrete saws in addition to heavy industrial lights worked well after dark on our first two days. We arrived at 8pm after driving 700 miles and the home was well over 80 deg - opening the windows just filled the house with the sound of jackhammers. Also had to move the road closed sign out of the middle of the street to be able to access the driveway. Night one was NOT good.
There is serious construction all over Estes Park. Be aware of this and account it in your plan regarding where to stay.
Without the construction itâs a 4/5 VRBO.
Recommendations:
-Explicitly note the unit does not have A/C.
-If the street the house sits on is closed, or there is major construction right out the back door, the potential renter should be notified before final booking.
-Replace the bed in the primary bedroom. Itâs a 5/10 at best.
RMNP was FANTASTIC. We hiked miles and miles and drove the Trail Ridge Road over and back. The mountain coaster was a blast as well. Start your trip with visitors center in Estes Park - They were super helpful and friendly.
We enjoyed this home. The location was perfect for walks downtown. (If hills are not good for you, consider a different option!). The home looks just like the photos. Not many cooking utensils available, but we made it work. Weâd stay again!
Location canât be beat, walked into town multiple times a day, super convenient!
Clean, functional, daughter loved her space downstairs
Master bed definitely lacking in comfort.
No TV in master.
Balcony should be more welcoming as most people enjoy coffee/wine while sitting and enjoying outside views.
Perhaps itâs a CO thing but entire property was overgrown with grass/weeds. While I do enjoy the wilderness about it, I had to pull weeds as tall as my hips to get off the stairs and walk over to the outside patio table to sit. Coming from TX where it has been so hot, sitting outside and enjoying this beautiful CO climate was super important to us.
Again, great location.
Such a cute house, walkable to everything. The house is comfy, well organized, so easy to figure everything out. There was even room to park in the garage! We had a great getaway and couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you!
This spot was the perfect jumping off point for all of our Rocky Mountain National Park adventures. It was within perfect walking distance of downtown too, which made it really easy for us to bypass the construction traffic! We will definitely try to book here again next time we're back in Estes Park!
Very nice accommodations that allows easy access to downtown Estes Park, river walk and RMNP! Good communication, clean and lots of space for a family.
This house is a lovely place to stay. Itâs very clean and great location to walk around downtown Estes. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
If you want to be close to downtown this is a great property! We stayed with our 18 year old son and his friend and the layout was perfect- they had their own little area in the lower level. Was very easy to check into and was clean. The only negative thing I would say is the house had very basic things in the kitchen to do anything.
You can't pick a more convenient location for both the town and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The property was great and included the use of the garage. Even had Elk come through the property while we were there. Home was really clean and roomy.
Nice place within easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Estes. Unfortunately it didnât have any of the kitchen items most VRBOs have. Only one kitchen knife. No steak knives, salt/pepper, seasonings, or coffee. Plus we didnât have sheets for one of the beds.
