Modern Luxury Fishtown Condo w/ Private Roof Deck
Here is your chance to live in one of the most in demand neighborhoods in Philadelphia, in one of the nicest complexes that can be found here. This is a high end luxury condo that is fully furnished and ready for a subletter to move in. It is a two story unit plus a private roof deck. It has two bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It has all amenities that you could possibly need and is tastefully decorated with an impressive art collection.
The space
Fishtown is easily one of the most popular, vibrant and interesting neighborhoods in this city. There's no shortage of things that have gotten us national press, but for just one example, you can Google a recent write up from Forbes. You have easy access to two subway stops or the trolley, but the walkability score of 95% and bike score of 96% shows that you have everything you need right in the neighborhood. You are within walking distance to Frankford & Girard and all of the popular bars including Frankford Hall, Barcade, Garage and Fabrika, the music venues like The Fillmore, Johnny Brenda's and Kung Fu Necktie, the restaurants that are always ranking among the city's best like WM Mulherin & Son's, Murph's, Suraya and LMNO. It is also a very artsy district, with the walls and streets boasting an always rotating gallery. This only scratches the surface of things to see and do here as Fishtown has so much life and energy in it. You are also right next to Northern Liberties and then Olde City, two more wonderful neighborhoods to experience, and just a few miles from Center City.
On the first floor, you have your own mailbox as well as a dropbox to receive packages - never have your Amazon packages left out on a doorstep! Also, there is a bicycle storage shed on this floor.
When you enter the condo, the downstairs offers an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room area blending into one. You'll find the half bath here, as well as a utility closet with the washer and dryer. There's storage there, as well as a separate full closet. You'll have a large leather couch to stretch out on and look out through oversized windows into a park. You have a 60 inch TV in front of you and wonderful pieces of art behind you, just a couple from the large collection decorating the whole condo. The kitchen has all of the appliances you could need - fridge, oven, microwave, rice cooker, foreman grill, garbage disposer, dishwasher etc.
Upstairs, you'll find the bathroom which has a huge walk-in shower, a beautiful custom built concrete sink and an ample amount of space.
Next to that, you have the first bedroom which faces the neighborhood. There's a walk-in closet, a work desk and chair, bureau and ceiling fan.
The other bedroom faces into the complex. If you like to sleep with the window open, your window is just above the koi pond which provides a peaceful white noise to fall asleep to. This room has a closet with double doors, a ceiling fan and a mounted TV. The exercise equipment including a weight bench, exercise ball and free weights are in this room. Step out of the door and out onto a patio which looks right down at the koi pond. Take a staircase up to the your own private roof deck with stunning 360 degree views of the city.
The building itself is mostly a mix of young professionals. It's a quiet place with respectful people, a real oasis right in the heart of the neighborhood. It is clean and constantly maintained by the HOA staff. You have multiple common areas throughout, including a lounge area with outdoor kitchen and another roof deck that can be accessed by anyone in the complex. My unit is just over eight years old and has been very well cared for, so everything feels brand new. Please note that there is no elevator, so you will be climbing the stairs to get to the unit.
