Piglets House is just lovely, we were really comfortable there and the views are amazing.
We had a lovely break, the weather was obviously a bonus. Nick and Gill made us feel so welcome, we really enjoyed our time with them and the goats and the horses and the dog !! Our dog certainly made herself at home there too !
We got to have the bbq I so wanted on the balcony and our visits to Hebden were very interesting, made more so by the Steampunk Festival. The pub just up the road served good food and good ale .... what more could we have asked for.
Thank you Nick and Gill.
Dear Christine & Roger,
Thank you so much for your review of your stay at Piglets House. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you again at some point. We enjoyed the Steam punk festival too - very different. That's what we love about Hebden Bridge. It is so unique with lots of events throughout the year too.
Best wishes, Gill & Nick
Very comfortable and clean with a great view.
Thank you for choosing to stay at Piglets House. We would love to welcome you back one day so that you can visit Saltaire too.
All the best,
Cosy little hideaway
Like a tardis in some respects, looks small from the outside but absolutely perfect inside. Warm & inviting with decent size bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/lounge.
We felt the mattress was a tad soft for us and shower had little pressure, but neither were major issues and each to their own on preferences.
We loved it though as a get away - Gill is fab, very welcoming and helpful - nice touch receiving a bottle of wine as well.
Thank you for your review of our cottage and recent stay - much appreciated.
The mattress is new and was described as medium - firm. We bought it in response to a couple of comments on this site about the previous one being too soft for some guests. I guess tastes do vary greatly and I'm happy to see it wasn't a major issue. All the best, Gill
Cosy well equipped haven - escape the rat race!
Excellent cottage with high standard
Excellent little cottage bit like a tardis - how did they fit it all in! Cosy warm and well equipped with fantastic views across the hills and moors including Stoodley Pike. Dogs also welcome and walks from doorstep. Lovely little balcony to sit and watch the sunset and the antics of the Pygmy goats in the next field!
Lovely place to stay for a relaxing time.beautuful views and walks.local pub was good, traditional food and friendly staff.
Wonderful, peaceful and relaxing get away
Nice village with some lovely people and the cottage we stayed in was tidy, very clean and overall a wonderful weekend, would highly recommend, Gill was lovely as well!
