We had a great time on Lake Jocassee! We were able to get our boat into the water at the park and store our trailer at Jocassee outdoor center. The cabin was very nice and clean! Not a bad walk down to the dock at all, and the views are amazing! Property manager is super nice and very helpful!
Yes, the driveway is insane, but the view is worth it!! The outside deck is huge and it has high quality comfy chairs and the scenic waterfront is stunning rain or shine. You need to bring your own life vests, but they have a canoe that you can use to see 5 waterfalls off the lake!
Property was awesome. The views were just as amazing as the pictures and landlord was super chill and easy to work with. Hopefully will become a yearly trip.
Our family lives a little over an hour away in beautiful downtown Greenville, SC. My husband grew up on the coast of SC and I grew up on the Florida panhandle. Weâve now spent over half of our lives in Greenville but really love being able to enjoy such pristine water (with no sharks đ ) and the beautiful scenery and hiking of the surrounding mountains.
With only 37 home on Jocassee, we knew we had to jump at the opportunity to enjoy and share such a beautiful place. We had a cabin on Lake Keowee for nearly 15 years but it became too crowded for us to enjoy being there as much on a regular basis. We wanted to be more remote and to be able to explore.
