Summer offers hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, boating/water sports, fishing, biking, and more. Winter offers skiing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, and even snowmobiling. Yearround, explore the old mining caves, gaze at the giant sequoia trees, and enjoy local food and drinks. Bonus: guests have access to Blue Lake Springs HOA, which includes two private lakes, a swimming pool, tennis courts, pickleball and more!
Blending luxurious design with cozy retreat vibes, our home offers the most unique suite of amenities, for every season, and every traveler. Experience where adult getaway meets family-friendly, and relaxation meets adventure. Remodeled and expertly designed to feel lush and stylish while paying homage to the history of the cabin and mountains.
Our spacious property comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests and cultivates special experiences for all types of travelers. Cook a large group dinner on the deck surrounded by trees and finish the night by with fire under the stars. Relax your body in the hot tub after a day of outdoor activities. Host your family night game in the loft and movie night by the fireplace. Bring home goods from local wineries, antique shops, and historical landmarks.
Interior
You enter the home on the main floor, which features an open concept living room, dining room, and remodeled kitchen. The living room features a gas fireplace and FireTV. The kitchen has a coffee maker and espresso machine, bar tools, toaster, and more. Down the hall are two freshly designed guest bedrooms - the green room and the striped room - each with a queen bed and charging station. Across the hall is a full bathroom.
Up the stairs is a kid-friendly loft featuring a Roku TV, games, additional sleeping accommodations, and arcade table. There is a game room with toys, movies, books, and more - a kids paradise. Down the hall is a second full bathroom. Across the hall is another larger bedroom with a queen bed, a dedicated work space for those who work remotely, and a trundle bed.
Both remodeled bathrooms are stocked with all the good smelling essentials you need - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom.
We also provide you with high-speed internet, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, pantry staples (olive oil, spices, coffee), cleaning products, an iron, and much more.
There is a laundry room down the outside back stairs.
Exterior
From the dining room/kitchen, you’ll access the large deck which features multiple seating areas, a gas fire pit, outdoor couches, lounge chairs, a picnic table for 10, and a grill.
Continuing onto the property, you will find the hot tub, wood fire-pit and seating area, corn-hole, and family friendly amenities.
At the front of the house is a large driveway and an EV charger. Please bring your own charging cord.
BEYOND THE PROPERTY
Guests have access to Blue Springs HOA, which includes 2 private lakes (Fly-In Acres Lake and Blue Lake Springs Lake), a swimming pool, tennis courts, rentable BBQs, year round restaurant (Blue Lake Bistro), playground. (There may be guest fees during peak season). *Note: there is a $50 fee for each lost guest card.
Additional HOA amenities include a snack bar, free equipment rentals, basketball court, volleyball, ping pong, exercise room, and daily activities for kids and families. Guest pass (card) must be present and guests must check-in for access. Please follow HOA rules while at the lake (e.g., no glass, no pets, no music).
