The tent and set up for everything is so cute! There is a comfortable air mattress, a full table outside to eat, and a very clean and beautifully decorated full bathroom and shower with shampoo, conditioner etc.
Location is walking distance to beautiful beaches and restaurants. We recommend taking the history tour that Yashei and Julian offer if you have a free afternoon! to see the most beautiful huge tree which is the spirit of Vieques, and the ruins of a sugar cane factory pre-WWII.
INTERACTING WITH NATURE... FRUITS AND BIRDS SINGING... EVERYTHING IS A 5 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE TO DUFFY'S RESTAURANT WITH THE BRST FRIED FISH.. JAK BIOBAY TOUR CLOSE BY AT THE BOULEVARD WITH THE BEST SUPER PROFESSIONAL BIOLUMINESCENT PRESENTATION...
The glamping tents are just like they appear in the photos -- cute, tidy, etc. But what's missing from the listing is how wonderful the hosts are. The camping area is basically in their backyard, and they were so helpful the entire time. Both Yashire and Julian know the island like the back of their hands, and were able tell us so much about local history, turtle conservation efforts, local food, the best guides for the bioluminescent bay tours, and much more. Getting to hang out with them made our time on Vieques so much more special. Gracias Yashire y Julian!!
