We stayed in this room for 1 night to experience the clear kayak bioluminescent night tour. We already had a large VRBO rented for the week in Culebra but wouldnât be able to return the night of this tour due to the ferry schedules.This place was perfect for our needs and I appreciate the other reviewers who led me to choose this place. It is just what you need. Clean beds, hot shower, cold A/C throughout (unlike our expensive place in Culebra), a fridge to keep our drinks coldâŠThis place was literally minutes from our biobay meeting place. We decided to explore in between the time we arrived to Vieques until our tour, and coincidentally every place we chose was very close to this VRBOâs location!We saw TONS of wild horses. We were even able to pet one out front of this place. We drove to the Puerto Ferro lighthouse ruins, explored Playa Negra (the Black Sand Beach), and Ceiba tree park (not realizing the oldest Ceiba tree we were searching for was by the pier as we were advised later).The neighborhood had quite a bit of abandoned buildings, but it felt safe.Check-in couldnât have been easier. No direct contact. We received an email with the check-in info which worked seamlessly. Place to keep luggage before & after check-in/out which we didnât need but nice touch.Owner even provided a 2nd set of towels which were PERFECT as we used them to sit on in our Jeep to help keep the seats dry following our kayak adventure. Worked like a charm.Highly recommend!
