Cottage Carol est situé dans le quartier historique et joliment arboré méthodiste Campement. Adjacent à la montagne Wesley Conference Center le quartier méthodiste Campement possède certaines des premières maisons de vacances à Kerrville, la plupart, initialement détenue par les ministres méthodistes. Bien qu'il existe de nombreuses activités au sein de miles, le gîte offre un havre de paix pour de longues promenades, visites avec les voisins ou lire tranquillement dans la cour tout en regardant le paissent des cerfs.

Quaint home

Very nice place. Clean, quiet, nicely furnished, no drama, plumbing & appliances functioned properly, an abundance of wild life particularly deer. I would come back.

Everything we wanted!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the cool, refreshing pool, the abundance of birds and flowers and the many deer just sauntering by in the neighborhood. It was a short drive to the farmer's market, shopping, the brewery and restaurants. The entire place was very comfortable. Looking forward to visiting Kerrville again - Carol's Cottage is the perfect place to stay!

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with deer and birds. The house is quaint with all the modern amenities! We loved it!

Delightful charmer

Carol has put her time, talent and affection into every square inch of this cottage. It is stylish, comfortable, functional, quiet and has numerous great antique furnishings. There is a spunky little weiner dog that lives on the other side of the fence who is always happy to greet you.

Lovely and comfortable

We loved the house and the neighborhood. We're birders so the feeders there attracted lots of birds which definitely added to our enjoyment. The deer wandered the area and were nice to watch from the porch. Great stay!!

Great hosts and charming cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage hosted by Carol. They live in the neighborhood and we enjoyed being welcomed into their space. The cottage is well set up and while small, we had everything we needed. It’s a quiet, clean, lovely place to stay. We recommend it for couples or singles.

Beautiful Cottage

From the first time we laid eyes on this place we were in love. This beautiful place was the most organized, cleanest place that we have stayed. The front and back yards are absolutely gorgeous.

Great stay

Lovely area. House decor was perfect. The wildlife increased our enjoyment and safety was evident. We had a bit of a problem upon arrival, probably our fault. We never found the door code on our email so that caused a minor problem. The owner explained she was tied up with clients so that explained not being able to reach her when we arrived. Otherwise a wonderful experience.

Carol’s Cottage

Amazing hosts in an amazing neighborhood!!! Very quiet, a lot of deer and other woodland creatures to watch. Cottage was very clean, well stocked. We would absolutely come back here, wouldn’t look elsewhere in Kerrville!! This was perfect👍

Amazing hosts and property

We were in town for some unfortunate circumstances and Carol and Joe could not have been better hosts. We throughly enjoyed our stay with them and hope to see them again in the future. The property was beautiful.

All we hoped for!

The cottage was attractive, clean, well-appointed, comfortable. We were looking for a brief respite from the current heat wave as experienced in the city. This was perfect - good AC, beautiful pool, and a shady and beautiful place to sit outside in the mornings. The neighborhood was also very pleasant for a morning walk. We could not have been happier.

Beautiful property; online photos give only a hint. Bright, cheerful, up-to-date, comfortable, squeaky clean, charming, above average furnishings and decor. Hosts were welcoming, quick to respond to questions, gave local activity suggestions suited to our group. Ideal location: woodsy, cozy, quiet neighborhood, yet only blocks from various restaurants and shopping. We want to return!

Cozy Kerrville getaway

Carol's property is beautiful, and the pictures don't do it justice! The backyard was the perfect size for our small-medium dog. The interior of the cottage was super cozy, well appointed, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool as well! Highly recommend booking here and we hope to return in the future.

Summer Adventure

We chose to explore the Hill Country this year for our Summer Adventure and could not have asked for a better place to stay. There was a pool, easy accessibility for parking and entering through the front. The back does have steps (I am disabled & stairs are almost impossible for me). The bedrooms are roomy with storage for our clothing. We stayed 2 weeks. This was a central area where we could take day trips to Sonora to San Antonio and Fredericksburg is only 40 minutes away. The kitchen had all the cooking & baking items necessary. There was a Kuerig & a pot coffee maker (we utilized both). The grocery store was close by as were many parks. The piece de la resistance was having deer in the front lawn first thing in the morning & around 8-9 at night. We were sitting outside and they came in and ate a bit...never bothered us. We loved seeing them! Carol & Joe are amazing people, who are attentive, caring and genuine. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Neal's Birthday Weekend

I liked the layout of the house, the wood floors and the lovely bath. The kitchen was very nice, and I loved the way the window was over the sink. The back yard was great, and even though we didn't bring out little doggos with us this time, the stock fencing down to the ground would be enough to keep them out of trouble. The chicken coop was pretty cool, and the design for their water was well thought out. We were a bit confused about the use of the pool initially, but once we figured it out we had a great time! And Joe was very helpful, answering our questions. Did I mention that the grounds were immaculate? :)

Vous êtes reçu par Carol Triola

Joe and Carol Triola and have been in Kerrville for 36 years. We moved from Houston to raise our children in this wonderful town. Joe is a retired Real Estate Inspector and chief grandpa and Carol is a Licensed Professional Counselor. We are well known around Kerrville and take great pride in our reputations, for being ethical, hard working people you can count on.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We built the cottage (2014) as an addition to our property, and so we could continue to enjoy visitors. The Methodist Encampment location makes it an especially appealing vacation home for those who appreciate esthetics and/or are visiting one of the many fun festivals in Kerrville or Light on The Hill for Emmaus retreats, or other events.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the coziness of the home, as well as it's preserved wood and stone. It has a 100 year old antique pine counter top in the kitchen, oak floors and native field stone on the house. As always, it is "the cleanest house in town". The location is close to everything, quiet and feels like you are in the woods, 5 minutes from town.
