Excellent home that accommodated our large family. The host was prompt in responding to our inquiries. The large outdoor playground was so much fun for our little one, as well as the separated fenced dog area for our chihuahuas to run around and play. The neighborhood is peaceful and the home is tucked away on a cul-de-sac which was a plus. Overall, excellent stay, close to shops, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. Two families stayed here and there was definitely enough space—plenty of room to even invite more people. The house was spacious and comfortable, and the playset was a huge hit with our four kids. We loved that the neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and great for walking. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do in nearby-aquarium and hiked Kennesaw Mountain. We were missing a few essentials, but Target was nearby, which made it easy. We also appreciated being able to bring our furry friends with us. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would stay again.

Beautiful home well maintained! Beautiful safe neighborhood. Very clean. Great stocked kitchen with cook wear and everything we needed to host a big family Thanksgiving. The playground was perfect for the small children. Lots of different bedrooms to accommodate different sized families. A lot of great common space. Hostess very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Home for a Baseball Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Host was very responsive and accommodations were perfect! The house is very clean and well maintained. Neighborhood is friendly and location is private and quiet. This home had everything that we needed! Would definitely book this property again when in the area!

The location of the house was great for all of our activities in the Atlanta area. We appreciated the extra supplies for our littles like high chair and extra pack and plays. The use of the neighborhood pool was great on hot afternoons. And Wendy was very responsive when we had any questions.

The house was beautiful and very well stocked for a rental. Each bedroom was beautiful. The host communicated very quickly. The kids loved the big play set out back. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk around. We would definitely stay again!

Marietta Manor

The house was absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated with plenty of room for my family. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of plates, bowls and utensils for our use. Wendy was an amazing host and let us check in early when traffic was lighter than expected and we arrived early. I would definitely recommend Marietta Manor and stay here again!

Magnificent Indeed

Wonderful property, secluded, quiet neighborhood. Comfortable, open seating areas for the whole family. Our fur baby enjoyed the fenced in yard while the grandkid enjoyed the extenive play area. Excellent communication with our host. Highly recommend!

We loved it!

The house was so cute and comfortable! It was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe for sure. My kids had a great time and felt at home playing on the swing set and playing basketball in the driveway. The board games were fun to have on hand as well. The host was very nice and accommodating. We loved it here and would definitely consider coming back if our travels bring us back to Atlanta.

Marietta's Magnificent Manor is just that. A beautiful home that is warm and welcoming! The home is decorated with antique furniture in every room. Large and spacious it can easily fit multiple families. My children loved playing on the playset in the backyard and listening to the frogs croak at night. While it was certainly home away from home feeling, there were some things missing that would have made it a bit easier - silly things like hand towels in the kitchen or bath mats in the bathroom. (Who knows maybe we just couldn't find them.) We were asked to strip the beds, no big deal, but we were also asked to empty the upstairs trash bins and sweep the floors. With a 10am checkout getting the chores done in the tight deadline was worrisome, but we managed no problem. Not trying to be cheeky, but with this much help from guests it's a surprise the cleaning staff doesn't have more time to better clean this large home. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, but walls and floors were sticky. A deep clean could be in order. That being said, it is a well-loved and beautiful home. We would 100% stay there again.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, which naturally fostered a deep love and admiration for Lake Lanier and the North Georgia Mountains. Growing up, my grandmother shared captivating stories about the origins of Lake Lanier, and those tales have stayed with me over the years. Today, I’m proud to own two beautiful lake houses on Lake Lanier, which I share with guests so they can experience the same comfort and memories this area has given me.

As a Berry College alum with a background in Education and Psychology, and a Master’s degree from North Georgia College & University in Education and Psychology, I am passionate about learning and building meaningful relationships. I also enjoy spending time with my two children, aged 24 and 22, and staying active through running and my Peloton routine. In my spare time, I love reading, cooking, and playing the piano. Hosting is a true joy for me, and I find it so fulfilling to meet new people and share the beauty of Lake Lanier with them.

I am excited to add The Manor to my listings! Growing up in Atlanta, I desire travelers & guests to enjoy the rich history it has to offer.
