Tara and I (Adrianna) will be your hosts. Though we're new to VRBO, we've been hosting on another vacation rental platform for nearly a year (Superhosts, Guest Favorite, top 1% of homes, and 5 stars). So, even though we don't yet have any reviews on this platform, we hope to earn your booking and provide you with an absolutely incredible stay.
We love the Cape and have created so many memories here. We're both from the East Coast (NY and MA, respectively) with family on and near the Cape. We wanted to establish a home in this incredibly special place so we purchased and renovated what is now Pearl Cottage!
We are frequent travelers (and work-from-home'rs) ourselves so we’ve outfitted the house with all that you’ll need and more, including plenty of workspaces.

Winter
* Sip your morning coffee and take in the waterfront from the screened-in porch snuggled under a blanket (or opt for the living room swivel chairs to admire the view in the warmth)
* Grab your robe to relax and enjoy the health benefits of our traditional sauna
* Throw on an extra layer as you set out for the pickleball courts (4 min drive) - fun fact: Cape Cod doesn’t get much snow which means the outdoor courts remain open
* Soak in the bathtub with your favorite book (we provide lots of them)
* Immerse yourself in a fun puzzle (we provide one but suggest you bring your own)
* Gather around the outdoor fire pit or in the 3 season patio to watch the amazing sunset
* Cook up a nourishing meal in the fully stocked kitchen or on the charcoal grill
* Turn on the indoor fireplace (electric) for added warmth (it gives off heat) and ambiance (option for crackling sounds)
* Choose a fun board game (plenty provided) or turn on a movie (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video included) and cap off the night with a drink

Boaters: the public boat launch on the next street over allows for easy access. If you have a boat, bring it!

With lightning fast WiFi, you never have to worry about connectivity. We know the importance of being able to work from wherever you are and you'll be able to do just that at Pearl Cottage (though, we hope you'll take a break!)

Important note:
* There are leash laws in Massachusetts so please leash your dog outdoors and clean up after them.
* Leash laws extend to our neighborhood beach. We’re lucky to share the beach with our amazing K-9 companions so please be respectful of the leash laws and rules so this opportunity extends into the future.

NON-summer Info
Where we’re located - Follins Pond - is a tidal lake. So, in the non-summer months, high tide and / or excessive precipitation can cause the water levels to rise quite a bit, bringing the waterfront much closer to the cottage. It’s perfectly normal for our location, to be expected, and nothing at all to be worried about. We understand that it might catch guests off guard, though, so want to provide a heads up. Please inquire with us if you have any questions at all about this.
