The Space:
With 2,538 sq ft of refined interior space and 1,060 sq ft of expansive lanais, every detail has been curated to create a private oasis. Designed as a 4 bedroom pod-style home, the primary pod is locked and remains a private space for the homeowners. Primary bedroom #2 is also a stand-alone pod and acts as the main bedroom for rental purposes, has a king bed, its own en-suite, outdoor shower, walk-in closet and lanai. The guest pod includes bedrooms #3 and #4. Bedroom #3 has a king bed and en-suite with a walk-in shower. Bedroom #4 has a bunk bed with full sized mattresses (top and bottom), and an additional pull-out full mattress, comfortably sleeping up to seven guests in the house.
The home also features a 3-car garage, where the owners' vehicles are stored, but guests will have access to an array of beach essentials, including boogie boards, a cooler, a beach cart, towels, umbrellas, and more. The highlight of this luxurious retreat is the zero-edge pool and spa, an architectural masterpiece that seamlessly blends with the lush Hawaiian landscape. Whether you're unwinding poolside, exploring the resort's world-class amenities, or strolling to the nearby white sand beaches, this stunning oasis promises an unforgettable Hawaiian escape.

The Neighborhood:
**There is a new home being built on lot 26, two lots over. There is a finished home that sits between our home and the lot under construction. The community has strict working hours during the day and weekdays, but it is inevitable that you will hear some construction noise and see construction vehicles when driving by lot 26 and when looking that way from the driveway area of our lot.
Perched along the 13th hole of the iconic Mauna Kea Beach Golf Course, this home provides exclusive access to unparalleled resort amenities. Just a short walk or bike ride from the house, enjoy the world-renowned white sand beaches of Mauna Kea (Kauna'oa Beach) and Hapuna Beach. Open 10 AM - 2 PM daily for guests, the private Kauna'oa Clubhouse offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, pool, and jacuzzi, and an exclusive Weiskopf Par 3 short course. A 10-15 minute drive to Waimea town where there are farmer's markets, shopping, grocery stores, theaters, dining, etc.
A 35-minute drive from Kona International Airport.
Getting Around:
The Big Island has much to see and do, and it is highly advised that Guests rent a car to take advantage of the many things this island has to offer. Hawaii Island does not have abundant public transportation, so renting a car is best. However, if you do not drive, you may consider hiring a charter tour, driver, or Uber.
Other Things to Note:
*Please note that the Mauna Kea Resort charges a separate $195 per day (per 3-bedroom house) resort fee to assume member's guest privileges. This fee is paid upon check-in at the guest services office located in the Hapuna Hotel lobby (details included with rental agreement). If our Guests opt into the Resort Amenities, they will have access to both the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Hotel. It is well worth a visit to the Hapuna to visit their swimming pools and another world-class beach.
Member's guest benefits include, but are not limited to: discounted golf, tennis, spa, use of resort beach towels and beach chairs, parking, gym, and pool use at both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Hotels.
