We enjoyed our stay. The location was very close to Pearl Brewery with lots of delicious food choices, walking on River Walk and visiting the Japanese tea Gardens and Botanical Garden. We had our two small dogs with us. Our only issues were the rather steep stairs into the yard and then up to the door. We also were a little disappointed that the yard was not securely fenced for the dogs but it was too hot to spend time outside with them anyways. The accommodation inside is very nice.

Pleasant Stay

This little historical home was very charming and a comfortable stay. The only slight inconvenience was having to park in the rear of the house, but enter through the front. It was nice to have the covered spot for parking, but then we had to walk around on the street for entry. Otherwise, the home is exactly as described and super close to many attractions. We would definitely book again!

This is the place to stay! We had a weekend trip to San Antonio my husband and I and our two doggies. Casa joy was a great spot for us. The front fenced yard was great space for our doggies to stretch their little legs and the location was historic San Antonio so not much traffic or noise. The home was beautiful and our stay was comfortable, can’t wait to be back for our next adventure.

Lovely spot with cute details!

This cute, historic house had all the amenities we needed and was so convenient to the zoo, Broadway (lots of great restaurants), and the Pearl District. Perfect for our small doggie, too (fenced front yard). Johanna was a great communicator, as well. Recommend this property if you are looking to travel to San Antonio and all it has to offer!
