Timely response time from Emre, grateful for that. The apartment was quiet, basic, clean and location, location, location!!!! We felt very welcomed with everyone we encountered.

This was a prime location for everywhere you would need to go. Staff was excellent and allowed us to check in early to leave bags in room. Room was very clean and it was overall a great experience. Definitely would come back here if I were to visit again.

Great location

The location is near the theater district, very close to the Algonquin Hotel. Great for a mid-town weekend. It's small, but comfortable enough. Light sleepers may want to bring ear plugs, since it does get street noise, even though it's on the 10th floor.

I was very happy with our stay at this property. The room was clean and cozy. The Lobby, sitting area and outside of the building was clean. The host was attentive with responses and giving check in information. The location was absolutely amazing and perfect so many nice places within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Host was ok. Not friendly. Took a long time to ever message me back. The space is nice and comfy. Centrally located to most stuff. I will say the bldg is old and the elevator shows its age. The people at the front office were very nice to deal with. Also, bring everything you will need! Like cups, bowls, coffee, creamer, snacks. There is Nothing in the room besides the bed, chairs, desk, fridge and microwave. Also, the safe in the closet does not work soooooo!!!

Worst experience ever. Owner is a cheat. Total bait and switch operation. Vrbo had to intervene to get the access codes. AFTER I flew to New York owner contacted me and said due to a maintenance problem he had to move me to another room. This is after I had checked with him three weeks in advance. Room had no hangers, no hair dryer, the bathroom vent did not work so the walls were soaked with shower steam as was the toilet paper. Owner non responsive and no one at check in desk for help. Two maids took pity on us and helped. This man is a scammer and you do not want to do business with him.

Leak, Bathroom, & heat

It was so warm in this unit our whole stay. We had to buy a fan to make it bearable. The bathroom door did not close all the way, and the faucets were crusty and hard to turn. Our last night here we found a water leak in the ceiling and reported it right away. It was near electrical so we stopping using the lights in the bathroom. The host did not reply to our concerns till late the next evening after we had checked out and left. It was in a good location.

Great location, but no communication from the host. Listed with AC, but it was not working. Unfortunately, no messages at all answered from host, and we had to find a maintenance person- but he could not fix. Very hot in unit, couldn’t sleep. Photos are a little dated on the website. Windows also don’t open all the way. Parking available couple blocks away, $60 for a whole day if you have to leave overnight.

We were notified the morning we arrived that the room we booked was no longer available due to an unspecified issue, and we'd been rebooked to a different room. The room seemed a little less spacious and didn't receive much light through the windows. Hot water in the shower was hit and miss. There is a coffee maker but no coffee. You have to text host to get the wifi code. Bed has a blanket and fitted sheet but no top sheet. The building is shared with student housing. The listing doesn't say it but the building is Mansfield Hotel aka Harrington Urban Living. Positives: we were allowed to check in a couple hours early. The staff is generally responsive and helpful, although the front desk in the building is usually not staffed. The AC is good. The location in midtown is great, beautiful Bryant Park is nearby, and easy to get to points around the city.

Communication with the host was inadequate. I inquired on a few occasions. I never received a response. I inquired about how much it would cost to add an adult. I also inquired about check instructions. I was nervous to visit and not receive Information regarding my check in since I had read someone else’s review that they had been double booked. I spoke to the host on the phone and he assured me that I would receive a response that day and I did not. We communicated through text and he still failed to give me an answer. I did not receive instructions until a few hours before our chicken. It was a little nerve-racking, not having that information at least 24 hours in advance. The lack of communication I found unprofessional.
