Pros: Great location within walking distance of Kings Beach, shops, restaurants, and Safeway. The home was well equipped with a washer/dryer and plenty of kitchen appliances and supplies, including storage containers that were convenient for beach days. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub. The host (property management company) provided thorough information in advance, making parking, check-in, and accessing the home very easy.Cons: The home is much darker inside than the photos suggest, with limited overhead lighting. Arriving at night, it wasn't easy to find enough lighting to get settled. Cobwebs around the primary bed frame, dusty/nonworking blinds, and visible TV cords hanging from the fireplace mantel. There was also no body soap in the upstairs shower. We checked ahead of time as to whether beach towels were provided, but there weren't. The host offered to bring some after we reached out, but thankfully we had brought our own just in case. Despite the great beach location, only a wagon is provided for beach use (which we knew in advance).Overall, a convenient location with good amenities, but for the price and 300 cleaning fee, and it being an older property, more attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and small guest essentials would make the stay more comfortable and worth the cost.
