Wonderful stay. Very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck at night and watching all the fireflies, listening to the wildlife. Very peaceful. Would book again.
Property was clean, private, comfortable, enjoyed the wildlife! a couple minor issues but we made it work out great. Hosts Wayne and Andrea and "Sophie" were very nice and accommodating..Beautiful Country!!Treehouse is very comfortable for two people!, would visit again!
Great stay and great host! The treehouse is very cute, comfy and solid. We were asked to park in front of a garage - you canât see the treehouse from there. I took my husband as a surprise and he was very concerned once we pulled in. Though once we parked and walked around to the treehouse it was great.
If you want to be in nature but are not a fan of being totally immersed in the woods or don't have enough time for it but still want to ge away from the city, this is a perfect spot. Whitin 10min to Welland and about 25min to Niagara Falls, this treehouse is far enough from the city noise to trully enjoy nature. The house is cozy and adorable, you can see the creek from the terrace and enjoy the song of birds and spot many wild animals from the comfort of the house. The host, Wayne and Andrea are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Even if we just stayed one night they helped us make the best out of it. The treehouse is comfortable, clean and fun to stay in. Even if it does not have a kitchen, the minifridge, microwave and closeness to restauraunts is all you need for a relaxing getaway from the city.
First time using Vrbo. I booked the place on a Tuesday for the same Friday. 2 nights Friday Saturday. Itâs a long weekend too. I paid for the place in full and bought the insurance.. itâs for me and my wifeâs anniversary. We drive down from Hamilton at noon Friday. We planned our whole weekend around this stay. We got babysitters for our 2 small children which isnât easy these days, especially on August .1 long weekend. Check in was supposed to be 4 pm. At 1:30pm I messaged the owner for check in instructions. He informed me that the place was rented already through another 3rd party vendor. After all fhe planning . Now we are stuck. Contacted Vrbo asking how this is even possible for them to take 800 from my bank account to a place that isnât even available to stay at. They never answered any of my questions at all to explain anything. I was connected to some online agent because thereâs nowhere to call an actual person . That I am aware of, but it is also my first time using it.He said I would get a refund , I asked for a transcript of our conversation because Iâve never used the app and they have 800 of my money and Iâm obviously looking for a refund. He stated that our conversation would be available on the dashboard in 48 hours later that day, I got an email saying that the reservation was canceled and I would be getting a refund but only a partial refund and nothing for the insurance. SoâŠ. After everything we had no place to go and it cost me 100.cuz insurance fee
