A beautiful home with beautiful views. We stayed for the month of September and loved our stay. It was easy to get to many towns and cities. The Tarbert Ferry was convenient in bringing us to Clare. Dermot was most helpful and quick to respond to our questions. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends

May be the nicest VRBO we’ve ever visited. This place is pristine. Dermot was very nice to meet us at check in to give an overview of the property. Place is super quiet with incredible views of the water. 13 min drive to Ballybunion. Hope to come back! Thanks Detmot!

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely cottage in Ballybunion. It was everything we hoped for and more. It was so welcoming and comfortable, and the perfect place to come home to after exploring and enjoying our time in Ireland.We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and were sad to leave!The mattresses were a little firmer than we’re used to, but that’s just a personal preference and such a small thing in an otherwise wonderful stay.We’re so grateful we found this little gem and would happily stay here again. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Ballybunion. Thank you for making us feel so at home!

Our stay at Dolphin Cottage was absolute heaven! Dermot was an amazing host! He was there to greet us and even had a lovely apple pie waiting for us to enjoy that evening. The property is 100% as described and the pictures do not do it justice! Every amenity was thought of and the views are just stunning from every room. I rented this location for my mother’s 75th birthday present… and with it being our first trip to the motherland we were unsure of so much. Dermot had recommendations, suggestions and was eager to assist with anything we needed. I cannot recommend this beautiful property enough! We hope to return soon with the rest of the family! Thank you Dermot and Nikki for sharing your beautiful home with us and helping make this such a memorable trip for my mom and I .

Home away from Home

Stunning location ! Took the whole family down for Nannys birthday & enjoyed daily sea swims, lots of local walks & cozy family nights in. Super clean, incredible views & will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful - this property is some 10 kilometers from Ballybunion & location is so much better! Loved the kitchen, with picture window to the lawn & beach just beyond, which was so quiet that it was almost our own 'private' beach. Garden & grounds were immaculate.

Beautiful House by the Sea

Amazing home which has everything you need ad more - plus the most gorgeous views over the Shannon. Relaxing week watching the tides, playing golf and visiting family. Lovely walks on the beach and even a swim in the sea. Will definitely return.

My 60th breakaway with family

What an amazing property and the views out to sea from every room is stunning, Everything was just perfect for my 60th with my family , Dermot and Nikki are great hosts and just a phone call away if needed,Once you stay at Dolphin Cottage you will be wanting to plan your next stay .And to top it all we got to see the Dolphins most mornings. Beautifully home

The house was spacious, the kitchen was large and well equipped. The whole place was clean and even more beautiful than the listing suggested. It literally took a minute to walk to the beach, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend Dolphin cottage to a family or small group and would happily stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay at dolphin cottage.The house had everything we could want. Great location, amazing kitchen, views of water from every room in the house and immaculately clean. Dermot the host was great. He went above and beyond to help us around since we had no working gps for driving!

Amazing Holiday Home

Amazing holiday home with outstanding views and easy excess to the beach which is just at the bottom of the garden. This Holiday home was extremely high end with everything you could possibly need, the beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The host dermot, was very helpful and welcoming and without being intrusive was readily available with any queries. We would love to return to this beautiful house.

Just Fabulous!

My siblings and I, along with our spouses used this fantastic house as our home base for our visits to so many of our ancestors history in western Ireland. It was the perfect place to land each evening, for cocktails watching the sunset over the water. The perfect place to reflect on our discoveries. The house is beautiful; the hostws so accommodating! We recommend it for your adventures out or just a quiet retreat.

Long awaited family vacation

I’d like to say that our experience met our expectations on this property, but it actually exceeded it. The property was remote and extremely peaceful, with direct access to a beach for long walks. There were 5 family members and the house was quite spacious. It was exactly what we were looking for. Dermot was an absolute gentleman of a host, and was quick to reply to any concerns or questions we had. We definitely plan to return to Dolphin Cottage!

The most AMAZING place to stay in the West coast!

This home to us for the last 2 week was the most AMAZING and gorgeous place to stay! Everything from our first contact with Dermot to the very last day was first class! Dermot was very quick to respond to our texts and recommended great places to visit. The house itself was also 5 star!!! The home was very clean, updated and so very quiet. And the view... Heaven on earth! If you have the chance to visit Ireland this is the place to stay! Thank you Dermot!
