Cet endroit a quelque chose pour tout le monde: baignade, pêche, canotage, le golf, Plages, Shopping, Restauration, Parcs, VTT, sentiers de randonnée ... Vérifiez l'emplacement; il est à quelques minutes de la rivière avec un accès direct au Golfe du Mexique! Le quartier est super aussi!

Convenient access to everything you need. We docked my boat next to the house. Unfortunately, water was a bit rough so only took the boat out a couple of times during our stay. The lockbox didn’t dispense the key but property manager was responsive. Overall great time in the Cape and recommend this property.

The host was very responsive. The home was nice and clean. We were really disapointed with the pool area. The home did NOT have ANY lounge chairs around the pool. There were some in the pictures but none there. They also didn't have any chairs down by the canal. There also didn't have a solar blanket like it advertised, to help keep the pool heat in during the cooler nights. There were NO pool floats to even float on during the sunny daytime. The only pool things they had were a few pool noodles which seemed old because there were pieces peeling off like they were pretty old. It is just hard when you travel far from the harsh winter in the north and spend this money for a place where you'd like to relax in comfort around a pool in Florida. We were very disapointed. The WIFI is terrible, you could not stream any live TV stations well because of the terrible internet. I hope the host/owner is willing to spend a little money and purchase lounge chairs and possibly a few pool raft like floats for people to at least be able to enjoy the pool for what it costs to spend a few days here. And please remove the picture on VRBO that shows a few lounge chairs, and says that there is a solar cover when there are none. We would never book this home again .

Thank you for your feedback. You reached out at 8:18pm for a next‑day stay, and we stopped everything to prepare the home for you in under 16 hours, including giving you early check‑in. You were stuck in a hotel and needed help, and we were glad to step in and make sure you had a comfortable place to stay. The lounge chairs were in the garage as described to you when you asked about them, and there are two lounge chairs exactly as shown in our pictures. They simply weren’t moved to the pool area during your stay, and because this was a last‑minute reservation, it was an oversight on our part not to move them ourselves. The floats were usable, and if a couple of noodles were worn - which happens in the Florida weather - there were several newer ones available. The solar cover was removed from the listing, and we raised the pool heater for you at no extra charge. Florida had unusually cold nights in the 40s during your stay, and no residential heater can keep a pool warm under those conditions. There is nothing wrong with the WiFi—we stream movies regularly without issues. We take pride in the experience we provide and consistently receive wonderful reviews. It’s unfortunate and unfair when stars are removed for seating that was available, as this can be harmful to homeowners who work hard to maintain their properties. We truly strive to make our guests comfortable and remained responsive throughout your stay. Your suggestions are appreciated as we continue improving the home.

We did have a great time together. There were a few bumps but nothing too bad. The main bathroom toilet leaked a lot and the Wifi was slow.. But other than that it was a great stay

Wonderful host

We stayed for 2 weeks. Family of 6. House and property was great and exactly as advertised. When we judge a house and owner it is not what went wrong it is how well the owner responds. Upon arrival the ac was out. The owner worked quickly to fix and ultimately had to replace the entire unit. This was done with continuous communication and without hesitation. Other minor things along the way were also communicated with ease and addressed as needed. I would DEFINITELY rent here or any property from this owner again. Thanks Patrick for all your work during our stay!!

Excellent property for a family!

My family of 5 (with 3 teenagers) loved this property! The pool is the best! It is large with a great surrounding enclosed outdoor area, including a jumbo smart tv and eating area. We flew to a neighboring airport and used a taxi service to get to the house. Then, we rented a boat, which stayed docked at this house for the week, and used it to get to the beach daily. In my opinion, especially when wanting to distance yourself from others, having a boat gives you access to the least busy, and best areas, on a beach! Highly recommend. There are plenty of boat rentals in the area, but make sure to reserve prior to your arrival because they go quickly. Home owners were very accommodating and quick to answer questions. Wonderful family vacation!

The house was very clean and pictures were as described. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because we spent most of our time out on the patio is needs some tlc weeds and needs cleaned, otherwise property owner was great and pool was very nice

Great location, can’t wait to go back.

Host was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to correspond with during our stay. House fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved the large pool deck and tv on the lanai for night movie watching from the pool. Grill was clean and combined with the kitchen pass through window, made dinners on the deck awesome. It was fun to ride the bikes around the neighborhood and watch the owls dig their burrows. It was a great neighborhood and awesome location. The house was true to the advertisement.

Cape Coral Home Away from Home

In general, the house was OK. It was hard to tell from the pictures, but the inside was old. No upgrades in terms of kitchen, counter tops, cabinets, etc. The bedrooms were, again, OK. The master bedroom bed was too high for us but comfortable once we were able to climb up on it. The other beds were slightly less then OK. One bed squeaked every time you moved and the other bedroom had bunk beds - again, difficult to use at our age. None of this was a deal breaker just observations based on our age and needs. Since there is no opportunity to split scores, a 3 is a little low and a 4 too high. Figure, for us, a 3.5 is about correct.

Thank you for staying at our vacation home. I will try to address the comments below. Our rental rate is lower than homes with new kitchens. We also don’t charge extra like most other homes do for electricity and other options that we have - like having the pool heater at 85 degrees. We hope to redo the kitchen in the near future - the abundant amount of storage that the current cabinets provide, makes it hard to get rid of them. The master king bed has a 3-4 inch topper on it that can be removed if it is too high. Yes there are bunk beds - as advertised in the description and in the pictures. We feel that the pictures are accurate and that the rate offered is a really great value. Wish you rounded up instead of down. :)

Great location by car or boat

The house had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful and communicated very clearly. The pool was perfect temperature and it was very short distance to Sanibel by boat through the canal. Would recommend this place highly!

A beautiful place to be!

The minute we pulled in the driveway, we were greeted by a friendly neighbor and thoroughly enjoy our stay to the minute we left! What a great area this is with stores nearby and friendly people. The home was very clean and the layout is perfect for a family. We rented a boat and were able to store the boat right at the home on the canal. Boating down the canals was magical. The pool was clean and the kids swam non stop. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic location near intercoastal waterways of the Gulf! Clean, quiet and comfortable.

I took my family of four and we had a nice time staying and relaxing in this home which was located very close to the intercoastal waterways of the Gulf. It only took us about 20 minutes by boat to reach Sanibel island area which will make a big difference if you choose to rent a boat. Some rentals in the area are tucked so far in that it could take you 1-2 hrs to just get out of the no wake channel system. We rarely needed to drive our vehicle except to the bait store and the local grocer to get items which was only a five minute drive away. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation with boat access this is the place to be. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfortable that I am currently looking to purchase the exact mattress that we used. The pool and patio were was very clean and made our experience top notch. The owner was very accessible, easy to talk to and promptly returned our deposit. My only recommendation to the owner would be to invest in getting some wood pilons installed for mooring a boat. It is possible to moor a boat to the existing structure (cement wall with cleats) but the boat rental captain was opposed to this because of the high risk of fiberglass damage that might occur. I am not an experienced boater so perhaps someone who is would feel more comfortable with the existing structure. Two bumper guards are located in the garage and available for use as needed. The dock on the channel is cement and very easy to fish from comfortably. I would certainly recommend this rental if you are an experienced boater or if you choose not to rent a boat. I am not an experienced boater and I did not realize that having pilons were necessary for me. All fives for this vacation home for an overall great experience! Thanks Patrick.

Jackpot!!!!

We rented this property for 6 weeks and could not have asked for a better place to stay. From day one we hit the weather jackpot. It started in the 70's and ended in the upper 80's in mid-April. We also hit the property jackpot. After leaving 10ft of snow in my backyard in Atlantic Canada, this home was just what the advertisement gods gave us - sunshine, heat and a tan. The one next door neighbour was helpful whenever we asked for information. They even invited us to their Easter fun fest. We were not kayakers, but if we wanted them they were available for a bit extra $$ - maybe I'll take up Kayaking, it certainly would have been interesting navigating the canals. This property is close to the Beach in Cape Coral. My grandchildren came for a visit and enjoyed the pool - this is where they finally let go of the pool edge and swam for the first time. Everything is close by: marvellous sunsets, Publix, Walgreen, CVS, excellent restaurants, Baseball, etc. etc.... We truly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be back at some future time - need to complete two more bucket list items. I truly recommend this property for your vacation pleasures. One item I would add, especially for wine drinkers, wine glasses would certainly be wonderful to have, but that's us. Does not take anything away, everything is THERE!!! One last thing, to paraphrase one of Elvis's song - "There will be peace in the valley", I can truly say that, "There is Peace on the canals of Cape Coral". It's really quiet and restful. If you're from the BIG city and want to rest and relax, this would certainly be the place.

Comfortable Vacation Rental Home

We rented this nice home for the month of February 2015. It was just as advertised. The owners were always responsive when we had a question. Our security deposit was returned to us promply after our stay. I would highly recommend it.

We are from NY and enjoy the warmth of Cape Coral during the cold seasons. It's always sunny and the perfect weather is wonderful!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this property because we love the location close to the River and near the Gulf of Mexico. We fell in love with the weather, the canals unique to this area and the peacefulness of Cape Coral. We love that it is a short distance from the beaches but far enough from the noise that beach communities sometimes bring.

Around the pool, there are pocket sliding doors & windows which open up fully to bring the outside in.
