Such a great place to stay. Beautiful view and home. Everything is as described! We could even see the fireworks from the deck on the 4th. We will definitely go back.
I have been a VRBO customer for years and this was one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. The location was perfect. Accessibility was easy and it was just as described regarding the house. We would stay here again when in this area.
We loved the location (very quiet and secluded), cleanliness of the property, hot tub and the layout of the home. We had 3 adult kids with us and they had their own living space downstairs in case they didnât want to watch the same movie as us. Karen was very responsive and offered great suggestions for local restaurants. We even extended our stay an extra night. We will be back to this property.
Karen (the property owner) was exceptionally communicative and welcoming. The cabin was pristine, clean, and offered incredible amenities. Cannot say enough about how beautiful the neighborhood is along with the cabin itself. Will absolutely be booking again with Karen and anyone who wants an authentic mountain getaway should also!
We had the best time with our family, two teens and dog! The locations was peaceful and the view of mountains and lake below was the perfect spot! The cabin was clean and cozy just what we needed! Beds very comfortable! Our hosts were very responsive to any questions and gave us recommendations when needed! Close hiking to Bell mountain and short drive to hike to high schoals fall! A must see! Will definitely be back soon!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Location is great with privacy yet close to Hiawassee. The hot tub was an added bonus after getting back to relax. We did use the outdoor fire pit and grill. Firewood can be purchased very close to the cabin. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and one pet. We liked having the separate living quarters down stairs with the added bonus W&D. We also enjoyed going to Bell Mountain which is just a little farther uphill from the cabin. Best views of Hiawassee. We will be back hopefully in the fall.
Always a great experience!! We had an old friends reunion and itâs a great space! Always clean, friendly and as promised. We have rented a few times on Buck Ridge with Karen and team! It has always been excellent.
Loved everything about this cabin and our stay in Hiawassee. Well-outfitted and comfortable space and amazing view. Easy to find and very private. The owner is lovely - very responsive and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. I would definitely love to come back to this magical place!
Property was as described. So quiet and with gorgeous views. Very close to town and activities. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!
Everything was as presented. The home was very clean and had all the necessities needed. The host were very involved and accessible when needed. Loved the porch and hot tub. The place to get firewood was close by and great burning wood!. Kitchen pots and pans could use an inventory.
The home was peaceful and quiet. Tucked away with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The home was clean and if we had any questions the property manager was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our 2nd stay @ Honey Lodge. Provided us with wonderful views & accommodations. Perfect retreat for Easter visit with Family. We've rented from Karen & Vince at least 4 times now & always enjoy our stay and accomodations.
Amazing little spot on the mountain in Hiawassee. Wonderful view and quiet location. Highly recommended. Great kitchen and fireplace with sliding glass doors you can see the view from all locations. Wonderful host always quick to help. Two thumbs way up
This home, The Honey Lodge, is a cozy log cabin, nestled in the trees and mountains. A private setting with a beautiful view. Two steps to the porch and living area with the master on the main with a view of the mountains and Brasstown Bald. Only one mile off main HWY 76 and one mile to the middle of Hiawassee. Ingles Grocery is very nice with a Starbucks inside. Very peaceful and you can hear the stream after a rain.
This true log home is only one mile off the main road, HWY 76 in Hiawassee Georgia. The home is secluded and has many hardwood trees around the home with plenty of parking. What is unique about this home is it has a beautiful view of the North Ga. mountains which is the national forest so no other homes are seen on the view along with a Lake Chatuge view. About 2 miles from shopping and dining. This is a great home to get away and relax with nature. With a new hot tub and hammock. Corn hole game available.
