Very cute condo. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Kids enjoyed their private space in the loft. We opted to drive to the mountain for skiing although there is a bus and the walk is about 10 mins. 2 minute drive and about a mile or so to the town with all the restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
This was the perfect property for our family ski vacation to Killington. You can walk to the Snowshed chair/lodge, about a 10 min walk, or drive over if you have little ones, and ski back at the end of the day. There is also a shuttle which we did not use. Community center and indoor pool was clutch for after skiing and relaxing. Would definitely rent this again.
The water heater ran out of hot water after 2.5 normal showers in a row. We had to limit each shower to a very rushed 5mins in order to get warm water for everyone. The heater label said 1996 build so itâs definitely time for an upgrade!
The second piece was that yet another unit where the cleaning staff didnât clean inside and underneath the sofa bed. We found crumbs in the folded mattress and a condom wrapper underneath. Gross.
This unit is an an ideal location for skiing Killington; however, the unit is extremely âtiredâ. It seems as though nothing has been updated since these buildings were built. Bed, bedding and pillows were so old and thin that you should bring your own if you stay. Our shower was broken upon arrival. The group did come to fix it quickly though. I was in 4 other units while visiting and for a similar price, you can find something much more updated.
The condo is tired but serviceable. Very convenient location. Kitchen cookware and cooking utensils could be better. Fireplace is great and firewood good quality.
My 11yr old son and I stayed for presidents week. The apartment was spacious with an up stairs loft and a balcony. With no other sound in the apartment you can faintly hear voices laughing next door so the apartment seems to be well insulated. My bed was fine but I donât think as an adult I would want to sleep on the pull out. A few negatives: To my sons dismay there is a sign for the loft that basically says ânot a sleeping area via fire marshalâ. It wasnât noted in the ad so I presumed that was the secondary sleeping area and my son was excited to sleep there. The washing machine works but not the dryer so I had to dry our clothes next to the heaters. There are just enough kitchen accessories to make all meals but I did miss a baking pan which I overcame with foil.
With that said the negatives didnât outweigh the positives and I would stay again.
We really enjoyed staying here because of the fantastic location, but we do have a couple of comments. The appliances are really old, but it only matters if you plan on cooking a meal. And I may have missed this, but the parking is not at the unit, you have to grab a cart and lug your stuff there. We did not know this and ended up making several trips with our bags before seeing there were carts, but it's really quaint once you are in.
The check-in process was very smooth. The unit is a nice condo located in Trail Creek. Weâve stayed at TC before because we love the easy access to the mountain! The condo was comfortable- including the bed. We cooked all our meals there and we had everything we needed to do that in the fully-equipped kitchen. We would stay here again! Thanks much!
This property was perfect for our weekend getaway! Clean, spacious, and very close to Killington Mountain. We had an amazing time and will hopefully be staying here again next year!
