DO NOT STAY HERE! Sketchy neighborhood, super NOISY traffic, glass shattered all over the back of the house & tools/wood all over the dining room upon arrival. Woken up at 1:30AM by neighbor honking & needing me to move my car due to owner not giving ANY instructions on parking or otherwise.Owner claims to have canceled my reservation THE DAY OF (who does that?!), but that was never communicated to me so my family arrived to the house late following a show we had driven 2.5hrs to see. Owner refuses to give me a refund for this nightmare experience. I could have paid half as much for a safe hotel!!

Very disheveled looking in a noisy neighborhood house did not smell good and was not very clean. There are only 2 bedrooms not 3 they are counting the living room couch as the 3rd bedroom. Could not wait to leave this place!

For the price and our trip it was perfect

We went to a concert down at water park and this was way cheaper than a hotel for my friends and I! It was smooth and easy to get into and comfortable. Things to work on: The upstairs was warm, having some fans available would be cool. The tv and WiFi did not work but we didn’t mess with it anymore then trying to turn it on. We really didn’t need it for our trip but for sure needs some work. Over all: It was cozy and had mirrors for us to get ready and the entry and exist was smooth! Neighbors were almost non existent (bonus) Host is quick to respond and pleasant! For the price and easy access this was the perfect spot for a couple good ol boys and girls to crash after an amazing concert! Will be back!!

Anywhere else

Property didn't look well maintained. Immediately upon arrive we noticed wood rotting and severe water damage in various areas of the rental. It smelled like cat pee on the mainfloor. The main bathroom had no functioning lights and there was no toilet paper. We all were afraid to sleep underneath the sheetsdue to the concern of cleanliness. I went home the next day with hives and an itchy rash. We noticed bugs scurrying around the kitchen and a cockroach in the living room. The host texted me after midnight to get us to go outside and park a car in the dark corner of the lot. Overall sketchy place and would not recommend. Next time we will be spending the extra money to stay somewhere nicer.

Getting there

Good things - this seems to be a work in progress. There is new carpet and what appears to be new beds with new bedding and curtains in the bedrooms. The manager was very prompt when i texted him with concerns/problems. Bad things - not very clean. Could never get the wifi to stay connected to the tv. Itbwould disconnect about every 10 minutes and you would have to restart the system. The bathrooms and kitchen are outdated and not very clean. But the kicker of it all that almost made us leave was the fact that the light in the bathroom kept shutting off. I was told to just push on the outlet, which was a couple feet away from the light switch, and it would come back on. It worked, but I was a little concerned about the electrical work at that point. I was told someone was scheduled to come fix it so maybe that has been addressed. Overall, for the money, it was decent. Still needs some updates and a professional cleaner.

Chose not to stay

Check in was fine. When we opened the door there was a smell in the house. I went to use the restroom on First floor and it was very dirty. The sink was dirty the toilet and the floor. Went upstairs and that bathroom was dirty as well. Sink toilet and shower were dirty and had hair all over. I found cleaner and wiped it up. Which I shouldn’t have had to do. There was no hand towel in bathroom and no extra toilet paper. We did contact owner and he did have someone drop off paper and hand towels. The longer we thought about it we decided to leave and ask for our money back. We got some of it back but not all. We were not even there an hour. The place is in need of repairs. That part would have been fine if it had been clean. We were worried about the cleanliness of the beds although we never even looked under the sheets.The owner needs to take more time if he is going to be successful in renting this out. I have never had a situation like this and I have rented numerous houses.
