Experience the best of both worlds in our ultimate Steamboat Getaway! Hop on the free 12-minute bus to the slopes and walk to Steamboat's finest restaurants and bars to enjoy apres-ski happy hours, fabulous dinners, and live music.
This spacious top-floor 3-bed/2-bath condo has stunning views of Howelsen Hill (ski-free Sundays, ski jump, tubing, ice skating), an open floor plan, a cozy fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space to store your gear.
The condo is on the third floor and has unobstructed views of Howelsen Hill, the oldest continuously operating ski mountain in the United States. You can view the ski jump from our front window! We are located on lively Yampa Street, across from the river and some of the best restaurants and bars in Steamboat. Once you are at the condo, you will rarely use your car since everything is walkable, and there is a free bus 1/2 block away that runs every 8 minutes to Steamboat Resort.
In the winter, the red and blue line bus runs from Old Town to the Steamboat resort base in 12-14 minutes (the bus runs year-round, but the faster red and blue line buses are only available during the winter). This is the BEST option since the bus drops you off at the mountain base, and you don't need to worry about parking.
All the summer excitement is right at your doorstep. There is a lively Farmer's market on Yampa Street in front of the condo on Saturdays, the famous Steamboat Rodeo just a short walk away, and the option to rent tubes and bikes across the street. For the thrill-seekers, Emerald Mountain by Howelsen Hill offers excellent mountain biking. And when you're ready to unwind, there are numerous riverside restaurants with live music, all just steps from the condo.
The condo has a minimalist, relaxing vibe and is free of clutter, so you have room to store your gear and clothes. All bedrooms have dressers and oversized closets with shelves, new mattresses, sheets, comforters, and pillows.
The bathrooms have new, fluffy white towels, plus beach towels for the Hot Springs and river.
The kitchen has a LOR espresso machine, coffee maker, milk frother, sharp knives, crockpot, griddle, magic bullet, mixer, pots/pans, wine glasses and everything you need to cook delicious meals.
There are two sets of cubbies and many hooks throughout the condo for jackets and gear.
We have a smart lock and offer self-check-in. We will provide you with a unique key code on check-in day. We offer one dedicated parking spot in the back of the condo right next to the stairs.
The condo is on the 3rd floor and the building does not have an elevator, so if you are uncomfortable with stairs, this condo may not be the right choice.
