The space
At The Local Alloggio, we invite you to experience Indianapolis like a true local, where the energy of the city meets the warmth and comfort of home. Our vibrant turquoise house, with its charming coral door, is nestled in the heart of Fletcher Place—a neighborhood filled with history, culture, and some of the best local restaurants and boutiques Indy has to offer. It’s the perfect blend of city life and cozy retreat.

Inside, our home is designed to make you feel immediately welcome. The master bedroom on the main floor is your personal sanctuary, complete with its own closet and a full bath for ultimate convenience. Upstairs, the second bedroom offers a quiet escape with a walk-in closet and private en suite bathroom. The third bedroom, just off the kitchen, is the perfect spot for extra guests or family members, keeping everyone comfortable and close.

At the end of a day spent exploring the city, return to the comfort of a cozy living space. Kick back on the couch, prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or step outside into our spacious backyard—a hidden gem perfect for unwinding or enjoying a meal al fresco. Surrounded by greenery, it’s your private escape within the city, where you can relax and recharge under the stars.

The Fletcher Place neighborhood is more than just a place to stay—it's a community with a pulse, where every street leads you to something new and exciting. Stroll down to local coffee shops, enjoy a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurant, or explore the unique boutiques just steps from your door. Hi! We’re Paul and Lindsey, and we’re so excited to host you at The Local Alloggio! Indianapolis is home for us, and we truly love everything about this city—from the amazing food scene to the welcoming community. Lindsey is an interior / exterior decorator, and Paul is a marketing director and high school basketball coach. We started hosting because we wanted to create a space where people can feel at home while getting to experience Indy like a local. Our goal is simple: to make sure you have an easy, comfortable, and memorable stay while exploring everything this city has to offer!

We chose Fletcher Place because it perfectly blends the best of Indianapolis—it’s right next to downtown, but it still has that small, welcoming neighborhood feel. The streets are lined with amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques, and you’ll always find people out walking, playing volleyball at the park, or just enjoying the energy of the area. The neighborhood also has deep Sicilian roots, which is why we named our place The Local Alloggio—a nod to the Italian word for lodging. We love that you can take a 10-minute walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse or 20 minutes to Lucas Oil Stadium, all while staying in a charming, cozy pocket of the city.
