My family and I have stayed at multiple locations throughout Wild Dunes, and we will absolutely be staying here again. The communication was very fast, and the location with young kids can’t be beat between the pool and beach just steps from the patio. Can’t wait for our next trip here!

The place was perfect. Just what my sisters and I needed. Very relaxing, close to pool and the beach. We were only there for a few days wish it was longer. The code to the pool did not work but someone had a fob and let us in. Not a problem for us. We could not locate where to bring the trash at the end of our stay.

Nice condo but overall disappointed. The photos accurately describe the inside of the condo which was nice. However, it was disappointing to arrive to the condo and discover that a beach renovation project was taking place which blocked access to the beach. This project had been occurring for months. The owner was at the property one week prior to our arrival and did not notify us. So, we paid premium pricing for a beach front condo that was full of trucks and big equipment and we were unable to access the beach from the property. While the project was out of the control of the owner, the owner failed to communicate this detail which greatly impacted our stay. I reached out to the owner about a few other relatively small issues and while the owner responded to my messages, we did not have much success in resolving the issues. We've stayed at VRBO properties a number of other times and never had issues until this one.

As I explained to Kristen, unfortunately I have zero control of the City of IOP or their schedule for beach nourishment. And the dates changed multiple times so I would’ve had no idea to know when it would affect our property. But as such a discounted the nightly rate from 600 a night to 375 which is an amazing deal for a two bedroom two bathroom oceanfront home in peak season. There are just some people who are impossible to please and will we use any excuse to try and scam a free vacation.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at Tidewater H102. The place was very clean, well equipped, and the beds were super comfortable. Loved that beach chairs and towels were provided. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in various condos on IOP, but this one is by far my favorite. From the very accommodating and responsive host, to the well stocked kitchen, to the abundant supply of beach chairs, we couldn’t have asked for more. Even better, I woke up each morning to a stunning view of the sunrise. A very short walk to the beach and vacation is complete. My family had a wonderful time - thank you!

Our family had an amazing stay at this Wild Dunes home! The location couldn’t have been better—right on the beach with easy access and beautiful views. The house had everything we could’ve asked for, including a great pool and plenty of space to relax. One of our favorite spots was the screened porch—it was perfect for morning coffee and evening hangouts. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Location cannot be beat, just steps to the beach. Pictures in listing do not accurately match condo, but provided just what we needed. The condo needed a good deep clean.

Hi Elizabeth. We just bought this gorgeous property 4 months ago, and made several improvements and upgrades including three new beds, new mattresses, all new bedding, blankets, new sheets, towels and rugs. Our cleaning team does an amazing job. All the best.

Small Piece of Heaven

This condo is great for a small family stay. Owner was available for any needs we had our entire stay. The condo came with all kitchen needs and even came with beach umbrellas and chairs (we had already brought ours but it’s good to know it is stocked with them). It is a short walk to the pool right outside and the beach is just beyond that.The cell service is not good but the WiFi connection makes up for that. It is a little off the beaten path at the end of a long road but we liked that it was more private and not filled with the public access crowd. We would stay here again as it was super accommodating and for our needs, also very clean.

Location was my favorite part!

We booked this property months in advance for a family vacation. We came from the landlocked midwest and wanted lots of ocean/beach time. The pool was great- larger size, clean, lots of loungers and space in the shade under a canopy. It was so close to the waves and water and we went on lots of beach walks at sunrise. There were two outdoor showers for rinsing sand off. Loved that beach chairs, a cooler and knee boards were there for the guests to use. Nice kitchen and dining space- the 4 of us never felt cramped for space anywhere in the condo. Host was very responsive and helpful. My only drawbacks which were minor to our overall stay: the check in gate never issued us a "pass" for our stay, so we only left once and had a little trouble trying to get back in to the community to the condo again. This was not the fault of the host and she said she'd talk to them about this for future guests. The rug in the master bedroom needed washed (looked like someone had dripped something in a trail) and there were grimy smudges on high-use areas like the doors by the door knob. Overall though the condo was very clean. I'm picky. There was absolutely no grit/sand on the floors, no hair or dust. Also, there were no batteries in the living room tv remote. We just borrowed batteries from the bedroom remote for this. Given the location and amenities, I would definitely book this property again!

Great location needs improvements

The condo was located in a gated community which was very nice; however, the property manager nor vrbo communicated what we needed to do to get through. We also did not have any information on which unit number we would be staying in until I had to reach out to the manager. The manager did not respond very quickly and did not answer all my questions. Note not infant friendly with accommodations. The vrbo information was not very clear on the door and pool gate code or trash instructions. The listing does not state that the pool is not heated so be prepared for chilling water. The manager said there was only a Keurig but we found a coffee pot and a press, but no coffee to accommodate at least one cup upon arrival. There was a tiny 3 oz bottle of dish soap and two dishwasher and laundry pods. The place says it sleeps 8 but be prepared for only 4 beach towels, limited shower towels that would have to be reused or washed, and no linens for the couch pullout. We were searching high and low for linens and found a fitted sheet in a ball in the back of a closet that looked dirty. Was questioning at that point how clean the linens were. The kitchen also lacked cutting board, seafood tool, and any recycling option. The master bedroom bathroom sink was backing up and note that you may hear the people the floor above you as we could hear their phone vibrating and going off in the middle of the night. Great access to the beach and pool. Screen porch has beach items stored inside.

The directions, check in instructions, parking info, pool code and more were all emailed to you 48 hours before check in. We provide beach towels and beach chairs as an added amenity. The extra linens are in the closet of the second bedroom. The cutting board is under the sink and seafood boil pot is In the closet. Sorry you didn’t reach out to ask any of those questions. Would have been happy to answer!

This condo was the perfect vacation spot for us (three older adult ladies)!!! The host was very kind and so responsive - we were even able to check-in early, which really helped us out. The convenience of being a first floor walk-up was wonderful. The condo itself was spotless and clean. The beds were comfy, and they had nice linens. The towels and beach towels were quite nice. The kitchen was well-equipped. The screened porch and the easy access to the pool area and beach were exactly what we had hoped for. We will definitely stay here again! THANK you!!
