This was our second stay at the Otter House. It has been several years since our last stay. This house is perfect for large groups and is in an ideal location for enjoying all that North Conway has to offer. The kitchens are well-equipped. We stayed over the MLK weekend and knew the restaurants in town would all be packed, so we prepared breakfast and dinner at the house. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc to prepare several large meals to feed our group. The kids enjoyed the bunk rooms and said the beds were comfortable. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the condition of the common area furniture and one of the three king beds. Half of the sectional in the living room is collapsed, so it feels like you're sitting in a bucket. The chaise lounger next to the sectional is missing enough of its stuffing that you can hit your head on the wood frame if you're not careful. I watched the Patriots game from a dining room chair because it was more comfortable. The box spring on one of the king beds is so broken that one of my party had to stuff a couple of cushions in it to bring the mattress back to level. Given the rates this property is able to collect a small investment from the owner in some comfortable furniture to lounge on after a full day of skiing would go a long way.To end on a positive note, you cannot underestimate the absolute pleasure of having access to a hot tub after a full day on the mountain.
